Good - restructure then move on to the next restructure candidate.

That is going to be easy once Dak signs his new extension. I have already got my popcorn ready for when the news breaks. I bet the mods could sell add space on that thread when the news hits.
Totally fine with restructuring him for 2-3 years— especially if he is being viewed as a swing tackle by year 2 or 3.
I think going to camp and letting him and Tyler compete for starting LT is a great thing. Keep the OL stacked with quality talent… and starting caliber OTs are worth the cap $$$
why do we continue doing this? Tyron is like a car that is running on rims and sparks are flying, smoke is coming off.the rims..the dude is done. Memo 2 Jerry.. " for all that is scared, have mercy on the guy, don't do this. Have mercy on the team and the fans. This is getting sad now. Let him ride off into the sunset. Draft another decent tackle. This more about doing right by the person, the team, and the fans, than it is about salary cap $. "
Disagree. He won't make it two more years
Disagree.
We have depth with Tyler and Terrence. If he comes to camp and can’t start, then you have the best swing tackle in the NFL.
There are worse problems to have
There is a shortage of offensive linemen. They need him.why do we continue doing this? yes exactly..and thats like 3 years at least. So true!!!!!
he can barely suit up...Its just a sad deal at this juncture. He is a shell of his former self. I think hes a liability.Rather go cheaper and younger. There is a shortage of offensive linemen. They need him.
yeah I get that. Its just that he might barely even play. Even though hes young, its like elder abuse. My interpretation is they want him to sign a more team friendly deal - something similar to Lawrence last year but with a lot less guaranteed money.
So your going to pay tyron 13 million to fill in for Steele until he gets back? And hope Tyron isnt hurt coming out of TC?They've done a pretty poor job since 2018 of adding depth so their kind of forced to work with him if he's flexible and willing to possibly start at RT if Steele isn't ready. Josh Ball is our backup tackle right now for crying out loud.
True. He's started over 150 games in the NFL which makes him like top 1% for all players drafted. That's why I always laugh at "he's made of glass" (people made of glass don't start over 150 games)
Seriously. Tyron is one season removed from making the NFL top 100, Day 1 pro bowl roster, and finishing 3rd in the all-pro voting. Not saying he's the epiphany of health but "being washed out longer than Zeke" is a far stretch.
Not at all.Sure, just like you can put all your current expenses on a credit card. Some people can make that work, some can’t. Would you trust Jerry and Stephen with your own credit? I sure as hell wouldn’t.
Not washed up, just injury prone. When he plays, he is still a badass. I suggested they trade him 2 years ago when he still had a lot of value, I was crucified by some. He’s been washed up longer than zeke Elliott .
He is a solid backup. He was starting at the end of the year.he can barely suit up...Its just a sad deal at this juncture. He is a shell of his former self. I think hes a liability.Rather go cheaper and younger.
Bingo…he’s next.
