Im not focused on a speed rush mold RDE, but we can be sure Marinelli/McClay are. To them, that's what we are missing. We don't have one player that can bend the corner and pressure around the edge. Im just trying to predict what they will do. Not what I would prefer

My point more was that you specifically mentioned Taco and I think it's obvious that he can bend the corner better than Harris, Takk or Watt. Bowser does have bend to him...I'll give you that. The other 3 may be smaller and quicker than Taco, but that doesn't make them better overall pass rushers. And I think Rod's ideal RDE would be 6'5 270 to be honest with you. But with the way Rod likes to rotate and mix and match I wouldn't rule out any type of d line player that can get after the QB. Jerry's talk of a war daddy is nice, but not all that practical. If you're expecting that type of player at 28 you're going to be disappointed

Bowser now up to 21 overall on Kiper's board.

Kid has skills no surprise he is rolling up the board.

Not saying they are going to draft him but the Cowboys have no problem with guys in the 240-250 playing RDE.

I'm with you. If he can get to the QB through speed or power, I don't care. We're not going to get Von Miller at 28. I hope Marinelli/McClay are as flexible with how they view DE's

Sounds to me like you're very focused on finding a RDE of a certain mold only. Not everyone has to be a 265 lb track star to get to the QB. There's a lot more to being a good pass rusher than just being quick twitch and fast. Sure it helps, but Bowser would have A LOT to learn on both mentally and physically. Not saying he can't do it, but it's more of a gamble than I'm willing to take on a 1st round pick.

And evaluating that risk/reward gamble, it might just make more sense to get a starting quality DB with our first pick, especially if we can land one with return skills; would likely be on the field more than situational DE would. So barring a trade down, maybe we should be discussing which DE will be there @ 60.

Bowser visited us and Broaddus did not know it happened even a week later (see tweets below). Only because Bowser posted on Instagram did everyone find out. Reading tea leaves, when a team keeps a visit like this from local reporters, especially those supposedly in the know like Broaddus, I think the team is serious about the player. We'll see, but I would not be surprised if he's the pick if guys like Takk and Watt are gone.

IMO, he is a late 2nd guy, despite the mediots that want to pump up "their guys" and have something to talk about on draft day...

Kiper (say this in his cocky, know-it-all voice): "I had Bowser at 21 on my big board and I can't believe he is still sitting out there at 50."
