News: U Turn - Randy Gregory Is A Bronco

It's kind of ironic that everyone trashing Lawrence for being "overpaid" restructured his contract to help the team.
Gregory, who the franchise nurtured back into the NFL doesn't show the same team friendly loyalty.

Good

You can’t talk about changing the culture and have this moron back. And I’m just talking about the stupid mistakes he makes in the field, not the drug stuff.

I really like Gregory, but he’s just not a $70 million guy. Vastly overrated by our front office for a guy that has never produced even close to a double digit sack season.
It wasn’t about what he’s done it was about what he could do…his ceiling. Now that I think we all might be overrating.

Gregory contract probally had verbiage there that if he gets suspended, his guarentee money is voided. I would susspect some type of verbiage inthere like that. He's not going to be succesful in Denver, so I'm not worried about it.

You don't pay a guy >$2M per sack. This is great news.

This is also the most money Gregory's ever had and there's no guarantee he's going to keep the ship upright especially in a culture like Colorado where doing his thing is easy to do.

After all the Cowboys have done for Gregory, they not only give him a market level contract, he balks cause the team wants to protect themselves. Good riddance, I don't blame the Cowboys what so ever. We will be fine, there are others who are better on the market.
