Signed by Cowboys UDFA signings

Not to over-rate Bass, but if thinking of trading him, include him in a package for Brooks.

IMO Miami still needs line, wants to be a run based team to start off with. Bass may crack their starting line, depending on Proctor's final position.
Steele. Trade him for Brooks. Straight up.

I’m shocked at some of those names going undrafted tbh. I’d take Lawson in a heartbeat. Would make a solid Mike with some development.
I’d be happy with any of the others you list as well (less so Nussmeier; we just don’t need QB).
Lawson signed with eagles!

I'd still bring in Bobby Wagner to run green dot and teach Barham and the other LB's. I like Winters but he should be a backup. MLB Wagner and Barham, WLB Overshown and James. Winters the primary backup for Wagner and Overshown. Wagner's old and Overshown always gets hurt. Winters would be like the Durant signing but for the LB's; insurance for everything.

I would also think about trading Bass for a 4th next year, they have too many Olineman. Somebody they like will have to be cut or would likely be poached off the practice squad. They would also save 5.7m on the cap in a trade. Unless, Cornelius has been a disappointment for them and he is the odd man out anyways.

They traded for Winters because they want him to start.

To how many. Last year it was 16. 17 for some teams for an international player.
They raised it from 10 to 16 somewhere around 2020!
Teams sign more players to futures contracts.
Can still only have 90 for camp.
Less need for UDFA!

Trigg is 6-4 240, he isn't a WR.
Pretty close. I'll grant you that there aren't a lot of WRs in NFL history that hit 240 on the scale, if you'll grant me that the consensus says this kid can't block to save his life.

What you end up with is technically called a TE, but in actual game day usage is a lot more like a WR.

Isaiah Likely... listed at 6-4, 245... is the best comp that comes to mind. Found this quote on the Ravens site:

When the Ravens drafted Likely, Head Coach John Harbaugh wasn't yet sure whether he would be a wide receiver or tight end. "It's not like an obvious position fit; he's just a playmaker-type guy," Harbaugh said at the time. Likely has made that come to fruition. He tells people his position is "chess piece." He can line up anywhere, and it became evident early on that he could make his presence felt wherever.

Right now to my count, they have 77 players signed including the recent UDFA players just signed.
78 if you count Pickens on the tag.
Leaving 12 open spots.
85 players counting the draft picks, but they will not count against the roster until they are actually signed.

I can see some more UDFA's, as I do not see them signing a lot of any other FA's that are out there.
Maybe this year they will not fill out the roster to 90, if they expect the drafted players to sign quickly. Therefore only need to bring in 5 more players.

I’m really surprised to hear that Emmitt’s son signed with the Chiefs. I had thought it was a done deal he was coming here

When Steele took a pay cut he got more guaranteed money. That new contract adjustment makes trading or cutting him difficult for the team. If they traded him this year they would take on 22m in dead cap. 16m dead cap in a 2027. 2028 would be the year but still 10m in dead cap. The team likes him I guess, and this contract makes it so he will most likely be here for at least 2 more years.

I think I just threw up a little in my mouth.
