I am not sure if Goodley is a pro. Excellent production but not a great catcher and built more running back imo. Nice look and see though. Farmer is interesting. Very high recruit who has the measurables. Just been injured most of his college career. Another look and see. I don't think Street's guarantee of a roster spot is a given at all.

If that's the list, we did a nice job at WR. I love the Deontay Greenberry signing. Goodley and Farmer are good too. There's a real opportunity here for a wideout.

Who can help in the return game and STs as well. DeWayne Harris is about to be a distant memory, something Devin Street couldn't accomplish.

He is entitled to his opinion just like you were entitled to your completely uninformed opinion on Greg hardy and the cowboys

You must not be able to read, dude. I told him he could have his own opinion and Jerry and Stephen have spoken.

Now as to Hardy, it was not uninformed and I still think it was a big mistake just like we keep experiencing with him. He
is trouble and we will keep having to live with it at least for this year.

You do realize they wanted to draft Allen or Davis in the 4th and both went ahead of there picks, and they have also said they may still bring someone in once cuts happen. Or is this the Hardy thing again

They didn't trade up for one and trade back in for one like they did for the TE in the 7th now did they.
I guess Jerry was honest in that they weren't going all in for a RB now were they.

Yea, the more I think about it, the more I'm envisioning him in the backfield. Broad shoulders and compact. He's at 5'10" and 210 now, but I read he played around 225 last year at Baylor. So we know that he can carry the weight without losing too much quickness and speed. Not suggesting he is the answer at RB, but I would definitely move him around the field and give him some carries and throw so screens out of the backfield his way.

I agree he's not a great receiver and that area is going to need the most work. Baylor coaches need to teach the receivers how to catch with their hands.

And how do you know they didn't try. Costs a bit more to trade up on the 4th then it does the 6th

I heard we might try him at RB

So are the Cowboys going to sign the next Tony Romo today?

@dpbrugler: #Cowboys picked up QB Brandon Bridge as an UDFA, not a bad landing spot for him. Was worth a late round draft pick IMO.

Sorry guy... You are entitled to your own opinion but not to your own facts. Jerry, Stephen, Jason and Gary Brown do not agree with you at all and
they think they can run the ball just fine behind this line with what they have. You may not like it but this is their team and you might as well accept it
or move over to the Commander's board.

Your right. It is my opinion. However, facts are not laid out in stone until something does happen and games are played. So their opinion is as good as anyones and really, like I mentioned before, they are EXPERIMENTING. It can work. It might not. I would not experiment with something that is so vital to the success of the team. They shouldn't either.

The difference between 2013 and 2014 on offense was Zach Martin for Mack Bernadeau and Scott Linehan. All other starters and coaches returned.

No. The difference was our dedication to running the ball, which was the result of having a back who we knew could do it. Dallas was talking about commitment to running the ball before it got Linehan and definitely before it got Martin. Now, I love the Martin pick and what it does for our line, but Murray has shown he was no slouch before he came along.

We realized because of what Murray did in 2013 that we needed to run the ball more. Linehan carried that out, but most likely any coordinator we brought in would have.

Get on board or find a new team!

I apologize. I did not realize that i had become a Commanders fan by being concerned about the running back position.

If I'm also concerned about the interior defensive line depth, what does that make me?

The description seems to fit Harris' role. Compact player who is used more on special teams and as a blocking receiver than as an actual receiver. I'll be surprised if he ends up in the backfield because the transition from WR to RB is not that easy because of the vision it takes to play running back.

All the reports on him say that he runs like a rb with the ball in his hands.
