Can't do what? What they do with Farmer has nothing to do with how much they can "save" to sign Collins. It is not like the salary cap where it is funny money that can be played with and manipulated.

They handed out huge money to Leary when he was signed, same to Brandon Magee and Jakar Hamilton.

I don't think you can promise any future payments without violating the salary cap

He does look like a running back. He could assume the Harris role, at least part of the way. I do not think we will have a "3rd down back", at least in a traditional sense. Just a gut feeling.

No reason to think they are the top suitor. Reason to think they are one of them.
