Your leadership skills are the 2nd best on this board !!!! :clap:Of course you know who is #1 =====Risen :bow::bow:

I'm not around enough to corral that Risen. Nor should that philly be broken. Let him graze upon the open fields that he roams. He brings happiness and jujubees to all the little girls and boys that like to hang around his fence.
I bring darkness and hangovers after nights of opium induced violence and tranquility with semblances of alcoholic vibrance and free-spirited...ness.

Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Corso's.

1st round talent allows you to do such things.7th rnd talent, not so much

Thought we were referring to the Elway context. I heard Collins told teams exactly that last season? You draft me in the 7th, I won't sign as to have more options as an UDFA, etc.

That's the beauty of being top talent. Collins was first rnd talent. A kid sitting home dreaming of a shot at the nfl who is more of a 6th 7th rnd talent is not going to tell some team not to draft them.
A interesting story I watch this weekend was about teams contacting these kids they think will be UDFA in the 5th and later telling them they are interested in them just to plant the seed for after the draft

I gotcha. He's a rare exception to the rule and it makes total sense in that context. Smart move of teams to plant seeds early too.

I honestly don't see any of these kids making the roster. Usually 1 or 2 kids make it...but I will really be shocked if one of these guys make it.

I know nothing about these guys except for what has been posted here, but Deon King and Ed Eagan are intriguing.

King was super productive but from a small school. I remember Eagan from watching the Senior Bowl practices, he stood out to me. Has some return ability and slot skills.

Rodney coe was kicked off the Iowa state team,so we have 2 guys who were kicked off by the cyclones.hope it works out like it did with Irving.

I thought that name sounded familiar. He was recruited by Iowa as a RB and was going there but was declared academically ineligible. He went to a community college to get his grades up and then transferred to Iowa State.

Surprised they didn't sign a FB. Currently there is no FB on the roster. I wonder if they are moving away from that, or just figure they can sign Clutts whenever they want.

I really think they are moving away from it. The zbs system doesn't really need one and all the current runners have done it pretty much without one. They could use someone from another position if they need a short yardage blocker.

Some of these UDFA are recruited like they were in college. The Romo story is also an interesting one too
