Surprised they didn't sign a FB. Currently there is no FB on the roster. I wonder if they are moving away from that, or just figure they can sign Clutts whenever they want.

Clutts is an unrestricted FA. Maybe Hanna (or Rod Smith) is the future FB, when they actually use one that is.

I imagine we are not getting the 'top' UDFAs because they see little chance of making the team. I can see a DB, WR, or TE coming in and thinking they could make the 53 here, but that's about it.

The a Cowboys had a 4-12 season. What part of that screams that they need to stay away from this talented team? They should be lined up to sign with Dallas.

Some of these UDFA are recruited like they were in college. The Romo story is also an interesting one too

Yeah I know about Romo's connection with Payton and choosing us because of the E. Illinois connection even having better offers from other teams, etc. Picked the wrong coach to supplant BP...

We have open competition everywhere as we have no depth outside of Leary (1 year deal) on this team. Maybe include McFadden now (1 yr deal; Morris compliments Zeke better as is), but outside of that, we have no depth on this team as you said; 4-12 anyone? Beasley is a one trick pony, Butler is potential, and TW is a good #2 but a body catcher, so the WRs aren't cemented at all either. Shouldn't be hard to outshine Street. Any DB would have a legit shot/as well as any LB/DL. Bi po Ro and a fragile Lee make you need some LB depth. SS/CB is still a mess outside of the return of Scandrick and Byron's potential @ FS.
