He also looked huge tonight. I thought Griffin would be 10X bigger than him and he wasn't.

i read that the second knockdown dislocated griffins jaw and thats why he gave up and ran out.

I thought Penns fight was great, I loved that Joe Rogan was like well if he can get Penn down then we know it's working and talking about how Penn might be getting worn out but no matter what Florian tried he couldn't do it then it just got to the point in the match where BJ was like, alright, let's take this to the ground.. went for the take down, got it, ended the fight. It was beautiful.

I thought Penns fight was great, I loved that Joe Rogan was like well if he can get Penn down then we know it's working and talking about how Penn might be getting worn out but no matter what Florian tried he couldn't do it then it just got to the point in the match where BJ was like, alright, let's take this to the ground.. went for the take down, got it, ended the fight. It was beautiful.

The only chance Florian had was to out-will BJ because BJ has the same strengths as Florian except his are 10 X better.


Had BJ not been dominated by GSP so badly he could also easily be mentioned as best pound for pound.

But BJ is a fun guy to watch because he is so good at what he does.


The entire time I was wondering what on earth Florian was trying to do by taking BJ to the ground? Thats the last person you want fighting you off of their back.

He looked impressive and hopefully we will get to see Penn vs Sanchez next.

That would be epic.

That kid who fought Amir looks like he has a ton of potential but im upset the ref stopped that fight.

Whats even worse when he was punching Amir on the ground 100% of his punches were to the back of Amirs head.

Very good PPV though. Im not expecting a lot out of ufc 102 & 103.

Pretty solid show. THe two big fights went pretty much exactly as I expected.

I said from the moment the fight was announced that they gave Silva a fight with Forrest, after his last two, because they needed someone who would push forward and could get a highlight KO out of Silva. They got exactly what they wanted. Silva KOing someone in a highlight fashion.

However I'm sickened, despite being a fan of Forrest, by the way he acted after the loss. This is the second time he's acted like a little girl after a loss. In the Jardine fight he stuck around long enough to say "I fought like a *****" and then went running out of the place.

Last night was worse because he didn't even stick around to show any respect to Silva. That was pretty pathetic. He needs to cut that junk out.

BJ Penn did EXACTLY what I figured he'd do against Florian. He out classed him in pretty much every way possible. Florian is totally over-rated, IMO, and I figured Penn would demonstrate that. Loved the fact that he did. Great job by Penn.

The Amir stoppage seemed a bit premature to me but that happens on occasion.
