4 out of 5 are great match ups. I'm not interested in Tibau/Neer, but that's just personal bias. I don't like either of them. I'll call Joe Daddy via guillotine choke, but that's all I'm guessing. The others seem like they could go either way. Not only is the main card solid, but Antoni Hardonk's fighting Pat Barry on the undercard. They'll show it on Spike, I want to see that fight so bad. I'll record it.

I think Machida wins easily, Joe Daddy by guillotine, and Anthony Johnson is going to knock Yoshida out.

Isn't Anderson Silva a former pride fighter??? But yes, Shogun is going to get waxed by Machida. Pride only had 1 fighter that most not biased fans could say is unbeatable and that is Fedor. However, Fedor never has been and never will be an exclusive fighter. His demands with M1 global Co Promotion are absolutely ********.

Realistically Shogun doesn't have much of a shot, if this was against any LHW other then Machida i'd put money on Shogun

Nobody's unbeatable. That includes Fedor and it includes Machida. Fedor was being out struck by Arlovski until he made the mistake and went for the flying knee and Fujita had Fedor rocked. He just currently happens to be the hardest guy to beat. Machida is also beatable, if an overweight out of shape BJ Penn can take him to a decision, the guy can be beaten. May not be easy and it may take one of the top LHWs in the world to do it, but he's beatable.

Machida is the closest there is to being unbeatable right now. He's the best fighter by far in the most competitive division in all of MMA.
He made Evans look like he didn't know what he was doing and didn't belong in the same ring as him and how many LHW fighter right now are better then Rashad? i can think of only 1

Wooooooo better than Anderson Silva?

I think Silva would get him. I wouldn't count Rampage out either.

I don't think Rampage could take him, There's only 1 LHW i think has a shot right now and that is Shogun. Shogun was at one point before his injury troubles just as dominant as Machida if he is truly back to the form he was when he made Rampage his b***h this should be an interesting fight

Rampage is at the top of his game and is always 1 punch away from winning.

I don't know if Machida could knock Rampage out. He could definetely win by decision though.

If they fought though I would take Rampage by KO.

Machida hardly gets touched at all if Rashad can't land a punch on him Rampage sure as hell can't.
I love me some Rampage but declining a title shot vs Machida to go be on TUF is probably the smartest thing he's done in MMA

I'm rooting for Machida simply because Shogun doesn't even deserve this title shot yet.

He got beaten by Griffin. He BARELY snuck out a win over an extremely winded and out of shape Coleman in one of the worst fights I've ever seen in my life.

But, hey, he KO'd Chuck Liddell so lets hand him a title fight for that, right? I mean it's a huge accomplishment to KO Chuck ain't it? It's not like 3 of his last 5 opponents KO'd him or anything.

Oh, wait...

he declined the title shot cause Dana wanted him to fight 5 weeks after he fought Jardine. he also fractured his hand in the Jardine fight so it was a good choice to not fight Machida with only 1 good hand. this is Machida's 1st real test. Rashad is good but his biggest win is over Forrest. Rashad hasn't really fought any top 205ers yet. Machida is very good but I wanna see what happens when he gets tagged. Shogun has a chance to beat him imo but his style falls right into what Machida wants to do and that's counter punch(and kick). Shogun also hasn't fought a top guy in a while but has looked better in every fight since the forrest fight. War Shogun!

It was the Rashad fight he had to back down from due to injury, Machida replaced him. This would have been his title shot it was always going to be Rampage vs the winner of Machida Evans, he's still the #1 contender but TUF and the A-team got in the way

he was originally supposed to fight Rashad and Rashad turned the fight down. Jardine wound up stepping in to take Rashad's place.
