All the Cain's going to get killed predictions......the size of the man does not matter only his will to win does.

Of course not yet....it'll come. Ne NEEDS to do that for a re-match.

The guy had a championship fight after what? Like 4 fights? Ridiculous that it came that early.

He should STILL be working his way up.

3, 2 if you only count his UFC fights and he only won 1 of those

I just want to see GSP and Silva fight. :( That's all that I care for today.

Do you enjoy watching a Canadian dry-humping a Brazilian?

I just don't see Cain being the top dog for very long.

1 or 2 defenses and I think there will be a new champion by then.

I personally think they are both the most exciting guys in the sport.

Im not much into the heavys. They are kinda boring to watch for the most part. I actually enjoy the ground game a lot more than just standing and striking and leaning on each other.

I agree. Im no Lesnar fan, don't get me wrong. He is just a mauler. I have never seen much skill in him besides being a mauler. Guy has enormous power but thats really it. I don't think he's a good striker and I don't think his wrestling is really all that. Cain is just as good at wrestling as Brock is and has way better MMA skills than Brock.

I am also no fan of Dana White. I think he pushes "HIS" boys way to fast and just boosts who he feels will be a big money draw, weather they are ready or not.

I just want to see GSP and Silva fight. :( That's all that I care for today.

GSP is absolutely amazing!

The fight that sticks out to me is the fight against Koscheck.....Koscheck was talking so much trash about wrestling being "his" game and how GSP couldn't take him down...what did GSP do? Took him down...beat on him for a bit, let him up and then took him down again. Did that over and over. GSP doesn't talk trash before the fight and lets his actions do the talking for him.

He pretty much does that to everyone that he fights....he takes their strength and beats them at their own strength.

GSP is just amazing to watch....period!

Wow.... bold prediction just like the one before the fight. What heavyweight is there in the ufc. Now if fedor came to the ufc that would be a fight.

Yep. I agree...I don't see too many defenses of his title....plus the Brazilian JJ is MUCH better to watch than a stand-up fight or just plain wrestling around. BJJ is just fun to watch....amazing what they can do.

Brock Turtled

Tattoos don't make you tuff, Viking sword tattoos don't make you a bada--

Brock Lesna was scared,he had piss running down his leg after he took his first stiff shot, then he stumbled across the ring like a clown

And turtled and got his face caved him that gash was the size of the Grand Canyon .

Listen this guy got thrown around by the Vikings OL....they jacked this dude for laughs..

These MMA guys are full of crap....you get Lesnar in a brawl with a guy who can fire left right combos in a bar and Lesnar is picking his teeth up , the next day after he wakes up - dude has no handles , no hands. ,no punching skill bro, the guy can't fight ,.he looks great ,he looks bada- - but guess what - he can't throw down .....

He should retire and go back to WWE , where it's play fighting ,guys like Velasquez hurt you = they can throw down and they can wrestle; deadly combo

Brock looked like Sonny Liston.

GSP is my favorite fighter and really want him to destroy Silva, if ever they do fight. I could argue that Silva doesn't even want to fight GSP. :D

:D

They are definitely up there among the best. Aldo and Shogun as well.

Just messin' with you about the first reply though. Quite a few folks hate GSP around here because of his style.

My favorite fighter a well.

For some reason he reminds me of Jean-Claude Van Damme. Both in how he looks and talks.....

I understand the money side of business, but why does Cain Velasquez get 8 months to prepare for one guy while the other guy puts up a fight in July coming off major surgery?

Doesn't really make much sense to me from a competitive standpoint.

It's going to be funny when Lesnar continues to lose because then Dana's going to lose his only massive draw to his sport. Ultimately, UFC will fade back into the sport it used to be.

The one thing I think tonight emphasizes more than anything is that Brock is his own worst enemy. Before and after the Carwin fight I talked about how Brock needs a new set of training partners.

Yes, his partners are all a tight-knit group, but the problem is that they are all wrestlers. Brock, or any fighter, needs those sparring partners and training partners who will help mold you into a complete fighter. Having Jon Madsen, Cole Konrad, Chris Tuchscherer, etc., there on a constant basis will not expand your game.

I know Pat Barry was brought in, but while quick, Barry doesn't have the best hands of a fighter. Even more, I don't think I can remember Barry being used as a tutor for anyone.

Brock does have it right by using Peter Welch as his boxing coach, but that only goes so far. Hitting mitts, a body suit and having him hold the heavy bag for you only go so far. You need those sparring buddies who you can go at it with and have them push you.

It will never happen, but if Brock went somewhere like ATT, he could reach that potential that he keeps showing. But until he gets away from a camp that really does nothing to further develop him, he will be the same Brock as always.

Still good enough to beat lots of folks, but his striking will continue to stink.

Seriously though...Boxing is so BORING to watch after just one week of watching UFC.

Before Lesnar, UFC was on it's way up. I don't see it fading at all.

Not really -- much more intelligence needed for boxing than MMA/UFC.

Really? Like boxers have to worry more about the punch coming at you than all of the stuff that a BJJ black belt can do? Come one. There have already been boxers that have tried to go up against UFC guys and they've lost...badly.

A boxer has NO IDEA how to get out of some of the holds that they get into when they are facing someone who knows what they are doing....a boxer can go down on a knee to stop it....MMA/UFC guys do that and they are toast.

Really? It's always been an obvious case that boxing promoters love to build up their fighters against scrubs to give them the unblemishable undefeated record that is held for as long as possible. Give me a break, there isn't one Jiu-Jitsu blue belt I've rolled with that couldn't destroy a boxer who's never worked on their takedown defense or anything MMA related. I'm not going to say boxing is boring, I appreciate the sport, but boxers being more intelligent is a joke when you're comparing them up against guys that have trained in Jiu-Jitsu 10-15 years, guys who have been wrestling at a high level since they were children, and ... Why am I even arguing this? Did James Toney not prove my point as is?
