I would say some nondescript DL like Jacksonville's Abry Jones would be right down Dallas' free agent alley.

But he's getting a decent contract to re-up with the Jaguars.

He recently said he was at 265-270 this year to ply on the outside, damn fran is going to a 4-4 defense now so he might stay there.

I hope not.

I think Carradine has ideal size for the position of he's done to 265-270.

He would be a decent bargain pick up.

I don't think Ingram (former 1st rounder) is considered under the radar. Guys like T. McClain, Mayowa, Gakacher are more of that type of FA. One's that leave us scratching our heads when signed. "who are these guys"???

I've stated my under the radar guy would be Addison, from Carolina.

I read somewhere Carolina is making him a priority. 9 1/2 sacks wont get ignored by either Carolina or FA market

Every year we guess what mid to high level player we're going to sign during free agency. And every year the Cowboys always sign some low level guy we rarely ever heard of, who might be ready to breakout. This year will likely be no different. Which small name players do you think we might have our eye on?
Great post
All the big names get thrown around and paid every year but the boys are just not going that route
You are on the right track

Believe the 49ers will release Tank Carradine OLB and definitely could be on the Cowboys radar. 49ers tried to make him a 3-4 OLB but his natural position is DE in a 4-3. Was pretty good at Florida St as a DE and had 11 sacks.

SF is moving to a 4-3

The forum seems down on Melvin Ingram. I think he's good.

Id be excited but as of now I have to wonder if he has the size for 4-3 DE? I guess hes on the cusp 6'2" 247. Could he still keep his quickness after stacking on a little weight? How much would it cost to see?

23 splash plays in his 4 years in the league, primarily a nickel CB / dime Safety:
  • 8 Interceptions
  • 5 Forced fumbles
  • 6 Fumble recoveries
  • 4 Sacks
Real nice player who finds way to get his hands on the ball.

He'd be a major upgrade to Wilcox as the 3rd safety and would also be a nice slot CB. Just don't ask him to play outside...
He'd be the starter not a third safety.

I know this thread was about under the radar options, but I am starting to feel like Jerry will make a good push at bringing in JPP.
