One is too highI don't think many people here are wanting to trade for Darnold.
Maybe a few....say 5%

would have had a better chance....or would have done it!?Noone is saying that the Chiefs don't have a chance. Mahomes has proven time and time again that he is worth that amount of money.
You are the only one making up that point about Mahomes.
And yes.......Mahomes is so incredibly good that we would have had a better chance of winning a superbowl.....even with Garrett at the helm.
Mahomes is a phenom. Dak shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as him. They are no where comparable in talent or in their ability to carry a team to greatness. That's why Dak's asking amount is beyond outrageous, and we should consider moving on if the demands do not come down to earth for someone of his caliber.
Doesn’t interest me. Once they quit playing, I lose interest. To each their own.
If we had an out after 4-5 years....maybeif they offer Dak a 10 year, 400M contract. would you be ok with it?
I see you only care about the 17th zillion Prescott threads and seeing the same comments written over and over and over and over and over.

Are you really trying to discredit Prescott's ability? Because I think that's an instant loss of.....Are you really trying to discredit Mahomes ability? Because I think that's an instant loss of credibility.
Yep. Sign me up.if they offer Dak a 10 year, 400M contract. would you be ok with it?
Yep. Sign me up.
Biggest concern is how he comes back from the injury, but I'd ink the deal.
I hear you, brother. Talent-wise, it would be crazy to let Dak walk since he keeps getting better and better...The idea of letting Dak walk disgusts me.
Only 20% of QBs picked in the top 10 pan out... We got a star at the position, why in heck would we let him walk?
I'm not sure how crazy his demands are tbh... I mean this all started over a ridiculous 4 year / 5 year argument.I hear you, brother. Talent-wise, it would be crazy to let Dak walk since he keeps getting better and better...
...but the greedy idiot keeps demanding way too much money to the point where the team honestly can not afford to keep a competitive team in tact if it caves in to Dak's outrageous demands.
At this point, ...... screw Dak! I'm sticking with the team over 1 player, even if it's Dak.
He didn't finish that 5th game. Pretty sure nobody is giving an MVP award to a guy leading a team with a losing record. Dak put up most his numbers against bad defenses.......PFF isn't factoring that into their grades.
It’s really not especially small. It’s over a quarter of the season. And on the heels of his best season as a pro.Where did he rank over 10+ games in 2020? Exactly, how anyone can jazz up such a small sample size is hilarious/embarrassing. Jeepers
wins and losses my friend....wins are team effort. losses are Dak's fault....being within 3 points with 3 minutes to go is garbage time. points in the 4th quarter don't matter or don't count as much. don't you get it?This is the simplistic view of fans today. You ignore so much of what he did right to focus on the other team gang raping the Dallas defense. Worst defense EVER for the Cowboys.
But somehow Dak was at fault for those losses.
Of course, but now he's being plain stupid and greedy. He needs to cut the BS and be more reasonable. If not, he can go elsewhere where he will quickly find out how much he actually had it made in Dallas. Anything above $35 mil / year is way too much...in my opinion.I'm not sure how crazy his demands are tbh... I mean this all started over a ridiculous 4 year / 5 year argument.
If we signed him for 4 years, we'd have 3 years to go.
Plus... Dak didn't want to take on a 5 year deal because he bet that the QB market would go up insanely, and that'd he'd perform to the level needed to get paid.... Dak bet on himself (and the QB market), and he was right... I respect it.
The market for QBs is going wild.Of course, but now he's being plain stupid and greedy. He needs to cut the BS and be more reasonable. If not, he can go elsewhere where he will quickly find out how much he actually had it made in Dallas. Anything above $35 mil / year is way too much...in my opinion.
The point I was trying to highlight is how absurd the notion is of moving to Darnold, or any other QB really. Someone proposed trading 2 firsts, a third, and CeeDee Lamb for Sam Darnold. Why in the heck would we do that?
Dak is the guy.
Per PFF (via Undisputed) this morning, they mentioned that Dak was rated as the #3 MVP in the league in 2020 during the 5 games he played.
But, we should trade for Sam Darnold? Lol.....

Dak is the most talented quarterback we’ve had wear the star in Dallas.
