Yes, he is. He's faster, stronger, and more versatile than Emmitt was. And I'm president of the Emmitt Smith fan club.

But it'll be a while before we know if Zeke has Emmitt's greatest quality......availablity.

Emmitt was the Cal Ripken or Jason Witten of running backs. Always there.

Emmitt loses size and speed comparisons to a lot of backs. Few understand that heart was his greatest ability.

He had great vision, movement skills and more power than seemed possible, but it really came down to heart for him.

Lol the stupidest thing I have heard by far. I know it's a forum but cmon now I'm sure we have not run out of things to talk about right.

We can talk about Dez being a bad route runner. That issue hasn't been discussed on this forum at all.

Zeke is quicker, faster, stronger but so is the rest of the league. Emmitt possessed all the same qualities and more IN HIS TIME. And went on to solidify that athletic greatness with longevity.

I think the more appropriate wording is that Zeke is clearly more "naturally and genetically talented" than Emmitt but that doesn't make someone "better".
Being the greatest is a long journey with prolonged success as a prerequisite and prolonged success is often predicated on a lot more than just talent. It's always the intangibles that make the greats, great. It's willing success against the odds or difficult circumstances.
Greatness can only be achieved over time when great talent is coupled with hard work and an iron will. Zeke is not currently comparable to an all time great player. One could compare his running style, 40 time, explosiveness, or other singular aspect like natural talent but to say Zeke is better than Emmitt is insulting to all the great players .

We'll said and couldn't agree more.

Emmitt wasn't fast, and he wasn't as powerful as Zeke. He did have better vision.

I'll be more than happy if Zeke ends up being better than LaDainian Tomlinson as a rusher. I have yet to see a better blocker at RB than Emmitt. And with today's rules he should be a better receiver.

I don't think you could be more wrong about anything if you spent your whole life trying. No offense, of course. :p
