do they talk about the Cowboys every single day?

Deal lol I just lost my mind when zeke is being talked with emmitt. I mean it's his rookie season.

I think Emmitt said something crazy like Zeke would be better than him sometime after the draft or in training camp and I thought that was crazy too!

Yes, he is. He's faster, stronger, and more versatile than Emmitt was. And I'm president of the Emmitt Smith fan club.

But it'll be a while before we know if Zeke has Emmitt's greatest quality......availablity.

Emmitt was the Cal Ripken or Jason Witten of running backs. Always there.

Bigger. Stronger. Faster. Sure this is obvious.

But is he as elusive in space? No. Able to play while seriously hurt? Uncertain.

Can Zeke play 226 NFL football games. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER happen.

If you could suit up a young healthy Emmitt for Sunday's game...or go with Zeke. Dead-even, I'd say.

Most guys are bigger and faster than Emmitt; most guys are not better than Emmitt Smith. Zeke's not more versatile either. Smith was a weapon out of the backfield and was a great blocker.

Zeke is a better weapon out of the backfield, and he's a better blocker, too. Especially compared to when Emmitt arrived.

Zeke is the best pass protector in the NFL right now among running backs. He's stoning everybody.

Zeke is quicker, faster, stronger but so is the rest of the league. Emmitt possessed all the same qualities and more IN HIS TIME. And went on to solidify that athletic greatness with longevity.

In fairness Emmitt couldn't simply away from defenders like Zeke.

Cris Carter and Shannon Sharpe confirmed my argument. Zeke has more talent, but he's not better than Emmitt. Not yet. In fact, he has a long way to go before he can even be mentioned as possibly being better than Emmitt.

But ... this is the first time I've heard that Emmitt Smith didn't separate his shoulder against the Giants.

I am going to enjoy Zeke's career, just like I enjoyed Emmitt's.

I don't need comparisons. To me both are terrific. Emmitt has the numbers.

But those numbers are meant to be broken.
