You can't under estimate UDFA's. They have something to prove and plenty of motivation; and they wont be concerned about making tacos rather than getting back to the line of scrimmage and concentrating on the next play before the opposing QB snaps the ball.

Cowboys drafted 7 out of these 30.

Exactly, if you rooted for Romo and Beasley its crazy to dismiss UDFAs.

Yeah, this is one that baffles me.

Unless they have their eyes on someone in FA that they're waiting for the comp pick window to close.

It's baffling now that right now after such a poor season by Jones that he has no competition.

Reminds me of the Maher situation all over again. They should have had some camp competition for him last season and paid for it.

Not sure it really means that. It just means more teams were interested in Carter so Dallas had to pay more to get him. Now, they were willing to pay more, but they also might have been for some of the ones that cost them left ... if anyone else had offered them more.

It's strange to me that neither Charlton or Turk has been signed (while five others have). They were considered to be among the top punters. ... Maybe draft gurus don't know what they are talking about when it comes to punters.

Overall it looks like a pretty decent group, I would not be surprised if 1 or 2 actually made the 55.

A couple more might be practice squad candidates as well.
