Should have hung the call up and established some sort of baseline for caller IQ before answering the next call.

What would he do to fill the radio silence?

Sports radio is just like those silly mailbag columns you see, a lot of imbeciles asking questions.

Ware's speed rush around the edge works great when a QB is forced back or takes a deep drop to pass, when there's not much push and the QB can stand up closer to the line; not so much.
Tampa's o-line did a great job and didn't get worn down until later in the game.
To think that our guys were uninspired or forgot how to get pressure is pretty ********. (not directed at you btw)

You also have to remember that Leftwich is a man's man at QB. He'll stand there and take hit's all game long. He's not a great QB but's he also not afraid to get hit. A lot of other QB's may have gotten happy feet during the game, Leftwich won't. I bet as the season goes on we'll see more pressure and more dancing QB's back there.

Well, you saw the threads here all week predicting two, three and four sacks against them. All along nobody wanted to acknowledge that Donald Penn played pretty well against him last year too. Sometimes that happens. I still remember when Strahan in his prime couldn't beat some converted defensive tackle we had on the line blocking him once.

I wasn't surprised that Ware didn't get a sack. I warned that it would be difficult because of the intricacies of the WC offense. Also, they were able to run the ball effectively and like you said the tackle came ready to play.

:fact:

Some of those questions are so bad that it makes you think that they are made up because no one could possibly be that stupid.

If anything I'd say Spencer is a benefitting from the attention Ware gets cause he's in the qb's face a lot.

Norm is doing his game review currently on the Ticket. he's opened it up to callers. this is what the very first caller says, and it stuns me that he was serious:

"hey norm, can we admit that DeMarcus Ware was a product of Greg Ellis? he did absolutely nothing out there, and Spears made the most plays on defense. Do we have another ROY WILLIAMS on our hands?"

i'm sorry....but WHAT!?

tell me there is no one else who could possibly share this opinion!

i wanted to jump through the radio and punch that guy in the head.

i'll admit i was disappointed in the defense in general, and i was anxiously awaiting Ware getting pressure, but
1) i think his stinger affected him just enough to hinder him at times.

2) i saw him getting doubled and chipped A LOT. that's where the other guys on defense need to make them pay.

i wish i would have been brilliant enough to call in with that... that has to be a prank.

LOL! I knew it. I knew there would be at least one moron out there who would go all crazy cause D-Ware didn't get a sack yesterday.

As a Fighting Idiot from Farmers Branch (where we look down on morons), I went crazy because I predicted Ware would get two sacks.
