Sure they have. No Mario Williams they win 5 games each year since he signed with them. Hes the best player on one of the best lines in football and has played at an All Pro level since he signed.

There is absolutely no way anyone in the Bills organization regrets giving him that money

The Bills haven't sniffed the playoffs ONCE since he's gotten that deal lol. If he was a free agent today he'd get half of that.

The bills haven't had a QB since that deal. And he is a big reason why he got deal. Might be the second best DE in football, he would easily get the same per year now if he was an FA

I'm sorry but I don't by the not having a QB thing. Texans don't have a QB and they were a game away from getting into the post season because of Watt. Don't get me wrong. He's a GREAT pass rusher but not 100 million dollars worth. Not with as many holes as the Bills have.

The Bills were just as close this year

Bills are a projected 12 million under the cap. The Williams signing hasnt exactly hampered them

Sad when you are forced to start a guy you already gave up on

True, as for Dallas and Suh your right Det managed to sign Williams and their defense has been great but they do not have a WR that is about to make a big contract. Myself I think Dallas should stay the course deal with priority FA on our team, look to mid level FA and the draft. That is what has gotten Dallas to this point. In past when Dallas made a splash in FA it has not helped us and more often than not it has bitten us.

To me the biggest thing Suh is how long do you plan on having deal on the books. Adding Suh while maintaining a commitment to Romo beyond say 2 years is going to be tough. But if you intend on having a player on a rookie contract starting at QB by 2017 its much more manageable. Especially if you can structure Suhs deal to where his guarenteed money is paid or mostly paid by the time you extend Romos replacement.

It all really depends on the FO outlook on some of the contracts on hand IMO

So their plateau is winning 9 games and still missing the playoffs?

Seems like a bad return on your investment.

And thats Williams fault? 38 sacks in 3 years and 27 the last two, dont think RDE is there issue

Texans havent made the playoffs since the extended Watt. That a bad return on their investment?

I would rather work through the draft then deal with an idiot like Suh. Dallas seems to get burnt by signing over priced headcases. Garrett has weeded these type out and frankly do not see us going back down that road again.

Jared Odrick anyone? Young and key part of miami's line. Stout against the run with the ability to get up and pressure the QB. Shouldn't break the bank and allow us to put money somewhere in the Defensive backfield or some edge rushers.

They liked him when he came out in the draft. The pick that year was Odrick or McCourty had we not traded up for Dez.

But that was a different coach, scheme, etc. Not sure how well he'd fit here.

We've been 4 for 5 in terms of picking pro bowlers in the 1st round and we've found some really sound picks in the late rounds. I'd trust our formula and sign a couple impact guys and this defense goes from average to pretty good in a hurry.
