....and just like that Dallas has lost their #1CB, their #1 sack DE, a starting DT, reserve OT, their #1 TE, their #1 SS, and their #3 WR......so far.

So, based on 2019 stats Dallas just lost these stats from the above players:

DEFENSE

163 Tackles (16% of team total) 15.5 Sacks (40% of team total) 16 PDef's 22 TFL's (29% of team total) 34 QB Hits (38% of team total) 3 Forced Fumbles (23% of team totals)

OFFENSE

118 Catches (30% of team total) 1,357 Yards (28% of team total) 7 Receiving TD's (23% of team total)

Tell me again all those that said the top priority was signing Dak and Cooper how Dallas will stop anyone in 2020?????

You are assuming that tagging Prescott and signing Cooper kept us from retaining any of those players

I guess you don't understand that losing scrubs is the beginning, then you replace them.

Are you really crying because we lost these players? LOL

We redid the NCO corpse coming out of Viet Nam, and it took about 10 years of head butting and letting go of people who just wanted to go to the bush and kill.

Dallas?

Things will change, but really? Let's see...:starspin:

And the point of the OP is? Just more whining going on.
Pretty original for your own...care to project right now? Maybe one can kick his own thinker into action a little and let's just see.

But if an argument is all that is desired...start it off, then.

The Cowboys retained the top two free agents in the entire NFL in Dak and Cooper. It's hard to complain about that.

You can easily replace a Maliek Collins or a Jeff Heath. It's harder to find a starting QB and a true number one receiver.
You're confusing starting QBs with franchise QBs.

You're thinking too much.

We are deep at CB... losing Byron isn't that big of a deal. I expect our first round pick to be a DE opposite of DLaw. We never had much at DT, so losing Collins is really irrelevant. A reserve OT that saw how many snaps? Jarwin is easily better than Witten(That's why Jarwin was resigned and Witten is in Oakland), Heath was the most average player on the team to be honest... and then Cobb. I'm not worried about replacing two or three positions. I just hope we invest in some big bodies in the draft and actually stop the run this year.

are you telling me jeff heath and jason witten should've been our top targets?

and what the hell did some of these guys do to warrant all this angst?
we were 8-8.
they contributed to that.
if we're supposed to let Dak walk because we were 8-8....why not these guys.

heath
witten
collins
cobb

are NOT irreplaceable.

the ones that im concerned about replacing are Jones and Quinn.
but Id rather try....WITH DAK AND COOOP...than without.

Hold those stats until after the season, and let's revisit them.
