Sad day.....

Pet cat Hamilton gone :(

Coale....another one that I hate to see gone...

Lemon I thought had a chance...

Leary? Guess Jerry signing bonus wasnt a factor......Jerry isnt broke like some think.

I really hope the coaching staff know what they are doin.....Hamilton and Coale need to be on our PS .....if they get picked up ....oh boy...I wont be happy :(

don't believe Coale and Lemon are confirmed yet. Not saying they aren't, it just isn't on a credible source yet.

Sorry, but if Archer was surprised that Chapas was being waived, he knows even less about evaluating talent than I thought.

I agree......Chapas was a JAG

Gotta think Callahan had a heavy hand on all the OL cuts. Hope he knows what he's doing.

Was really hoping we'd keep Hamilton. :(

I know this guy is everyone's pet cat, but don't be surprised if he makes it through waivers and onto the PS. So far, he's a one-trick pony, which is what everyone knew at the draft (and why he wasn't drafted). Most teams don't have room for a one-dimensional rookie, even if he is a pass rusher.

Do not be surprised if we pick up a g/c from another team depending on who is cut

Surprised? Praying for it. Atlanta is supposed to have excess.

They have to be looking for a guy like that. Right now Arkin is that guy and Dockery the other backup OG. :(

I sure hope Derrick Dockery joins that list.

Sorry, but no way they do that now. Dockery, Arkin, and Parnell are your back-ups for week 1, and I anticipate it could even be Dockery that would be active on gameday over Arkin, moving Bernadeau to C, if needed. The change-up could be if someone shakes loose from another roster, as has been mentioned. The problem is, though, that even if they claim one of those guys tomorrow off of waivers, they wouldn't be able to practice except for, at the earliest, the walk-through on Monday.

Definitely agree with this. Another team would take be taking a big risk in signing Hamilton to their 53

If we keep three qbs i'm done!

There were reports last night that McGee took off really quickly after the game - left before reporters could talk to him.

My guess is that Garrett gave him a heads up on getting released.

Oh, I know I just don't want him near the team. He's been awful.

Lol...not exactly blowing it up, for certain. In all honesty, though, that first game back was awful, and the rust was apparent. He was a little better since...but not something I'd want to have to count on as a starter for more than a game here or there.

I hope your right....all we need is to have 2 QB's on the 53.....
