Against who? He'd get mauled against real NFL lineman. He was having success against guys that are on cut lists today.

Practice squad guy with a year under Woicik ahead of him.

The 5 RB thing is puzzling. I have to think that that one kid who was hot early is cut. He probably posted it to his twitter, but since no one can actually spell his name, it hasn't come out.
 
Danny Coale will be a good player wherever he winds up. And it wont be our practice squad, some team will snatch him up.

It's always amazing to me how many cut players supposedly could never make through waivers to our practice squad. Who knew Dallas was fielding 70 NFL regular season roster quality players in camp this year? Wow, we must be just ridiculously, ridiculously deep. We have friggin Kevin Ogletree as our default 3rd WR (once again), but evidently our 7th or 8th WR that couldn't make our team is going to be a hugely hot commodity around the NFL.

We go through this every year, and 75% of the time the players that "could never make it to the practice squad" make it through waivers to the practice squad. The thing about practice squads is that teams mostly use them to stash their own players. Tey've already invested time, coaching man hours and resources into those players and have a long term vision for them. The Cowboys aren't the only team who have players who made some nice plays against other teams 3rd and 4th stringers in preseason games.

Honestly Cowboys fans are the least knowledgeable in my experience of communicating with fans over the internet. Not saying there aren't any good posters around here because there are many but there are a lot of knee jerk maniacs.

But a bunch of running backs got hurt this preseason. The Lions lost 3 or 4 of them. Dunbar will likely get scooped up.

If the Lions try to trot out Dunbar in a regular season game for any extended playing time, Matthew Stafford will be on IR by Week 4 as a blitzing 250 lbs. linebacker treats Dunbar as a human speed bump in a blitz pickup.

Exactly..say what you want about Felix Jones (believe me, I do) but one area where he has elevated his game is pass protection. The ONLY area where his increased size has paid off.. He's definitely stronger at the point of attack..

Dunbar is not going to get scooped with guys like Hightower and Ware available. He'll be on the PS.

Commanders? They already have a ton of WRs they like. Ironically we may be interested in one of the WRs they may have to cut - Dezmon Briscoe.
