NFC Bracket

The Eagles need to win the NFC East to clinch at least one home game, and potentially two in the NFC playoffs.
They will be able to do that by winning their next two games.
If that happens they will definitely assure that they have a better record against the Cowboys who trail by one in the win and loss column.
Their tiebreak (you can read more about it here) will give them the division title. The Eagles can also win the NFC East with one win, and one Dallas loss.
Current Hot Teams in NFC
  • Tampa Bay Bucs, won 4 in a row
  • San Francisco 49ers, 6-1 last 7 games with only loss to Ravens
  • LA Rams, 5-1 last 6 games with only loss to Ravens
Current Cold Teams in NFC
  • Philadelphia Eagles, 1-3 last 4 games with only win against Giants
  • Dallas Cowboys, lost 2 in a row
Reminder... Division Round TBD. In Divisional Round (second round), the lowest ranked team who won Wild Card matchups faces the bye week team. Remaining two teams face each other.

Those last 2 charts aren't accurate. Perhaps they're outdated but they're way off.

I know because I have access to the ESPN Analytics info.

Cowboys odds to get each seed are as follows:

1 seed = 0.7%
2 seed = 17.5%
3 seed = 0.8%
5 seed = 81%

Also, the 49ers still have a 69% shot at the 1 seed... Eagles have a 22.5% shot at that, Lions have a 7.8% shot.

How is our "make playoffs" only at 97%? We've already clinched a spot

Thanks Nav22. Sorry folks, I posted from a search engine link this time. Should have used actual ESPN link like I normally do. Here is updated ESPN Analytics. I asked a mod if they could replace ESPN Analytics on first post with this one. Everything else there though is accurate. Just the 2 ESPN Analytics pictures that are outdated.

See post below you. Sorry about that. Used the wrong link on accident. I asked the mods if they could move it up to original post.

Yeah I thought those numbers looked off.

Those charts are inaccurate. See my post above.

As for "odds to make the Super Bowl" in the NFC...

49ers 52%
Cowboys 18%
Eagles 16%
Lions 8%
Rams 2%
Bucs 1%
Seahawks 1%
All other NFC teams 0.2% or less

A 99% or 97% will make the playoff in no way they will miss the playoff
so why not say 100%

This is actually somewhat favorable because we will beat Tampa. There's a pretty good chance the Rams upset the Lions and that should leave us heading to Philly for the divisional round.

Best case scenario we don't have to face the niners until the conference championship.

I think Eagles must lose to Giants.
if we win last 2, eagles lose to Cards. Then we are tied. And Eagles win by SOV tie breaker.
Don't believe this is true any more.

Pretty sure we get the 2 seed if the Eagles lose to the Cards and we win out.
