Updated NFC Playoff Picture 12/26

MIckey the Shill was on 105.3 The Fan today, and one of the hosts made mention that Dallas had win out and Philly had to lose to NY for us to win the East...no mention was made of AZ being an equal scenario. And Micky the Shill did not correct him and say that Philly could lose to either team for us to win the East. Did something change that I've not heard about???

I wonder if the Cowboys lose in the wild card round. Does Jerry can Mike McCarthy? I mean we see how long we stayed with Jason Garrett smh.
If we finish 12-5 again, I won't be surprised if he stays no matter how the playoffs turn out. Maybe if we lose badly in the wild-card round, he'd fire him, but multiple playoff seasons in a row is something we had not accomplished in a while and I think Jerry may hang his hat on that.

I never complained about Dak's 16 turnovers last year, because it's a foolhardy exercise when you don't know if they are the reason for the turnover that gets accredited to them. That's the problem with that stat applied to a QB. In particular why I don't say 17 turnovers means he's a QB that turns the ball over a lot. I know better.
I did and almost everyone did too. You can't have it at the QB position. Think about it if you turn the ball over 17 times in 15 games that a little over once a game.

Nothing has changed, Dallas has to win out and Philly loses either game.

Yep. You say you can't have it at the quarterback position, which involves 2 or 3 wide receivers, tight ends, and running backs to all do their jobs to eliminate those turnovers. And Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre and dozens of others have proven that you can even if they were turnovers solely based on the quarterback.

Let's be real Prescott could have one turnover a year that Lamb fell down, and the defender caught the ball, and they would still not want him on the team if the defense wasn't good enough to contain our opponents to less points then we scored.
