We will know for sure, if he is left on PUP or activated to the 53 come tomorrow. And even if he is, he may still miss 4 games.
They just won’t have to go through all the procedures of activating him and releasing a player.
The bigger factor with PUP is being away from the team for 4 weeks. Not being able to be in practice or meetings until week 5.
Gallup did not want to be away from the team.
He will be in a normal routine and catching passes from Dak now until he is game ready which is big for hitting the ground running come week 3,4 or even 5.
Part of why they reduced PUP from 6 weeks to 4 was guys weren't playing until week 8 in most cases under the 6 game PUP.
Gallup being inactive will prolly allow them to activate a LB they wouldn't otherwise like Gifford or Harper for special teams duty.

You must be a blast at parties.
that made ZERO sense must be past and cut you keep but forgot to make sure it matched the content..it did not.it was a straight up fact, a real story that actually matches jerry's comment and explained why it made sense,

and your response was dribble. please stop trying to demean the jones family at every turn to point that you cant keep facts straight to take show. It missed.

You literally take everything posted here seriously. Sounds like fun. The fact that every joke flies over your head, as you run to defend the Jones family honor, is a remarkable achievement. Do yourself a favor and stop taking every comment about Jerry so personally.

The word you were searching was "drivel", by the way. "Dribble" made ZERO sense.

NO the dribble running down your chin while posting is exactly what i meant. I imagine you with dribble trying to make point., you know you need nurse to wipe it off because you are unable to do it yourself.:) o_O<----see noted sarcasm and humor ahead.

if it is joke its apropos to use proper emojis, or JK or something after it to alert sarcasm or jokes :rolleyes:o_O;)<---those would help.

I wonder if Gallup would even be the #3 receiver on some of the better teams?
Would even be? He was a 1,000 yard receiver in year 2. When healthy, he’s a good WR2 in the league.

It’s been a few seasons since he’s been healthy I’ll give you that, but on talent and ability he’s definitely a top 2 WR for most teams. He’d be a 1 on teams like GB, NE, DET, ATL that don’t have established 1’s.

For Gallup to be a 3 the team would have to have two Pro-Bowl guys ahead of him like we did with Coop and Ceedee. Our 2021 WR corps was touted as one of the best in the league, so don’t really see how he could be a luxury 3 on one of the best trios but be a bubble WR3 on others.

I'm inclined to trust the trainers much more than what Jerry would like to allow.

He usually opts to return players in favor of getting the most bang for his buck.

The team doc and trainers are inclined to wait until any reinjury risk is minimal.
