I don't know. It is hard to classify it has stereotyping when you have labeled yourself "Drunken Mick".

It is perfectly acceptable to use derogatory terms about people from your own race and nationality, just look at that up and coming music the kids these days are listening to.......I believe it's called rap.

Well if you father is born an raised Irish I guess you win this round, what part is he from? Stay away from Limerick.

That happened to my brother... he got jumped, and fought off three guys, and apparently punched one of the guys so hard, he knocked him out cold. Cops came, said it wasn't his fault, no charges were filed. 1 year later he gets sued for $50,000 by the family of the guy who jumped him for medical bills. He has to pay $5000 for an attorney to defend himself, wins the case, but can't recover his attorney fees because the family was broke.

Long story short, only in America can you get jumped by hooligans, and it cost you $5000.00.

America's the best and worst of alot of things haha

Yes, but in other countries a lot worse (rape, murder, etc) can happen and there is nothing you can do about it or your entire family will be killed.

The US isn't perfect, but at least it isn't like many other countries out there.

Hey now, don't mistake me for being anti-American... I think my past posts show nothing but love and deep devotion to this country. It was just a post about the craziness of the legal system. We might have a better legal system than a lot of other countries, but it still needs to be reformed.

Just because our country is the best doesn't make it without faults... there is always room for improvement.

With that being said, this is a Cowboys forum, so I think it's best to get back to that discussion anyway (lest somehow this conversation involves legal troubles of NFL players, which it doesn't)

Hey now, don't mistake me for being anti-American... I think my past posts show nothing but love and deep devotion to this country. It was just a post about the craziness of the legal system. We might have a better legal system than a lot of other countries, but it still needs to be reformed.

How many people actually knew these negotiations were taking place? Now I ask you this. What would happen if that was TO asking for more money before the end of his contract? We have already seen what would happen. This is a cut and dry case of racism in the media. Nice White boy argues contract, no media coverage. The trouble maker black guy wants a new contract and their are helicopters in the air and his agent is giving TV interviews. Our society is just so screwed up.

Urlacher didn't miss training camp, and even showed up for mini-camps. Owens on the other hand, missed camp, was combative with coaches and did interviews filled with deragatory remarks towards the team.

What the Eagles did was stupid, but Owens did take it to an entirely different level than Urlacher did.
