USA Today's 2014 Season Prediction

I love how the Vikings are predicted to go 3-13 (Same prediction thrown at us), but in the same sentence have a shot at the playoffs. *shakes head* You're kidding me, right?
Our only mention is Romo's back (OK, I'll give him that, but this is the same dude who played through broken ribs and a lacerated lung), and an injury riddled defense that was horrible. No mention of our improved O line, Murray, or getting players back on defense.
A big whatever. This dude IS an OBVIOUS HATER!

Obviously I wasnt talking about carr, scandrick or church. Durant and carter at this point are not starter quality. Hollowman and wilber though kind of intriguing are backups with a shot because our lb core is easily one of the worst in the nfl. Haydens not very good and not sure about mincey.

Durant and Carter both have made plays s starters.

I commented you said our defense is rookies and injuried. I listed players that are neither and will play a huge role and how this defense preforms.

So this guys touted as the most accurate and predicted the super bowl, correctly, with winner at this time last year... This doesn't look good for us...

(honestly, I said 4-12 so... )

I'm sure the Cowboys were picked last year to come within 30 yards of sweeping the division with no defense whatsoever.

I like the Ravens gaining 5 more wins by simply signing a 48 year old Steve Smith. Maybe Flacco will throw more TD's than interceptions this year. He makes #58 in the NFL top 100 with more picks than TD's. He threw 20 more picks than Foles. ha ha ha

Or everyone in NFC west winning at least 10 games. They do have to play each other twice, right?

Just plain silly.

One thing i've learned about the NFC East is generally who ever wins it was picked to finish last in the pre season.

Eagles last year
Skins the year before

So, we got them right where we want um!

People keep talking about our defense and not about our offense that will score points. GB and NO both won championships with no pass rush, terrible defense. They won with a great offense note that being said what those two teams defense did do was.... create turnovers which Rod has really done well.

My point is not that Dallas will win the superbowl this year but will win games on great offense, special teams and creating turnovers. Anything the defense can do only helps.

You need 2 of the 3 to win.... offense, defense, special teams. We will win at least 8 games possibly 12, so 8-12 wins (if we stay relative healthy)

I'm old school ... I still believe defense wins championships .... whats up with these $126M lifetime deals for young whipper snappers who've played 10 games in the NFL ... geesh!!!

Please, we were 8-8 with the worst defense in the history of the world. We've gotten younger. You can't get worse than we were on defense last year.

It was bad but wasn't quite that bad the Cowboys had the 3rd worst defense statistically in the history of the world. Getting younger doesn't mean you're getting better. After the 2012 season I thought the defense couldn't get any worse and it did. I can't imagine it being worse than last season because a lot of the issues were due to having to bring in players off the street due to a rash of injuries and confusion with players being out of position.

We saw a lot of the same issues in 2012 which forced Ryan to have to simply things. It looked like a fire drill at times last season with players running around not knowing where to be. It's going to come down to coaching and putting players in position to make plays if the defense is going to improve.

This is no exaggeration; I consider 3-13 almost as farfetched 13-3.

I also predicted the Superbowl Champs. Doesn't mean I've a clue what's going to happen in 16 games for the Cowboys. Just means that Seattle just seemed to easy a pick after the year before. They're insanely talented on both sides of the ball and well coached. I wouldn't look at this guy as Jesus Christ. I don't see the boys ever going 4-12 with Romo throwing the ball. Just won't happen. He goes down, mmmmmmaybe...
