I disagree...I think women's soccer is even better than mens.

I agree with that. More space to move, more mistakes made = more chances.

I just feel like the women play pure soccer better. The men dive and flop and all this other stuff...the women are also incredible athletes. I think it's one sport where the top women's players could compete with men.

This Marta chick is a big time flopper and complains incessantly. She should have gotten a card back when she basically threw the refs hand out of her face.

Yes, I feel Marta has been given free reign to do as she pleases.

that ref has hosed the US on both Brazilian goals.

The red card was bogus. The extra penalty kick was bogus. The non-offsides call on the second goal was bogus.

Basically Brazil has been handed a birth in the semifinals. I am so proud of the resolve if the US. They have fought hard and continue to fight, even while playing 14 on 10.

the US has dominated this contest...and from the beginning all Brazil has done is whine and complain to the refs....after the half it seems the refs decided to give in to the Brazilian cries.

I hate how the US seems to get hosed in World Cup matches.....what frustrates me is the fact the refs hose us even when they dont really have to. We aren't exactly a top power in soccer, but for some reason, come the WC, the officials find ways to cheat us...and I mean obvious bad calls.

Today is another example of the officiating being against us in a huge way. At least Sweden beat us fair and square. Brazil has cheated and used cheap tactics.....I have no respect for the officials or Brazil.

If Brazil wins, I will be rooting for Sweden.

That Wambach goal was a thing of beauty. Rapinoe should be in the starting lineup next game. Her crosses were great when she was in there.
