I just checked and that list is all there is. Officially anyway. No edge rusher just DE and LBI think they have a "edge rusher " category because it skews LB values

Absolutely not, because if you are drafting in the top 10 you need talent at premium positions - there's a reason why your team is drafting that high. Teams with less than 6 wins generally have serious talent deficiencies on the OL, DL, and Secondary. Taking even a special back like Jeanty that high is malpractice.I believe Jeanty is a special back and should be drafted in the 1st rd, if not top 10.
Malpractice? We took Zeke at 4 and became the #1 seed the following year with a rookie 4th QB and a terrible defense. Special backs are worth high picks and make an immediate impact. Yes, some but not all tend to be 1 contract players, but the great ones have long careers.Absolutely not, because if you are drafting in the top 10 you need talent at premium positions - there's a reason why your team is drafting that high. I mistyped. Meant the say "should have an edge rusher category "I just checked and that list is all there is. Officially anyway. No edge rusher just DE and LB
OK, that is so correct.I mistyped. Meant the say "should have an edge rusher category "
Outside of Kicker and Punter. You could make a case for need for almost any position.
It’s always conditional. If Kansas City had the 1st pick and Sanders was BPA they of course would not draft a qbIf you're a bpa no matter what person but don't want jeanty you should stop talking draft if you can't even stick with the philosophy you parrot.
NO one totally does BPA no matter what they say. There are always ifs and butsIt’s always conditional. If Kansas City had the 1st pick and Sanders was BPA they of course would not draft a qb
You can't tell that to cz scouts.NO one totally does BPA no matter what they say. There are always ifs and buts
The average salary for off-ball LBs is about 17M.Taken from overthecap.com
QB-$ 41,304.00
LB-$ 27,050.00 (This includes all linebackers)
WR-$ 25,690.00
OL-$ 25,149.00
DE-$ 24,726.00
DT-$ 23,460.00
CB-$ 20,357.00
S-$ 19,626.00
TE-$ 14,241.00
RB-$ 13,621.00
ST-$ 6,459.00
You see the last three are significantly lower, unless a special prospect falls, you avoid taking these positions in rd 1.
Pretty much…BPA at money positions rounds 1 and it’s a good pick. You could make a case for need for almost any position.
