We got pretty much duped when a "new" van Halen cd was coming out only to find out it was pretty much a remastered demo tape.

I know the Van Halen cd with the Extreme singer did not work out but frankly VH should had tried other singers or the very least the band could have put out an instrumental cd out.

One would think that all of the years without a VH cd would have meant tons of great riffs and song (music wise) available but again they went with a remaster of old stuff and I would not be shocked that even if they did come out with new stuff that the band would do their parts in one stiludio and DLR would do his separate in another.

I don't think they can work together too closely for long. I have heard that Eddie, a little of Alex as well, is very paranoid about stuff and of course DLR can great on anyone's nerves after a bit.

DLR - whackjob. At this point... being this selfish, cheating the fans. I’m not a fan of that!
Bassist - EVH son. Will they make him it out? How does MA feel about coming back?

Heard somewhere that Wolfgang (think that is the sons name) might be working with his own band but I have no true if there is any validity to it.
I would imagine he would want to be on his own with people his own age .

Wolf is a better bass player than Michael Anthony and Anthony never did anything when he was in the original lineup except make Jack Daniels more popular. So, I really don't care if he ever plays with the band again.

If that is all you think of Anthony it tells me how little you know of Van Halen.

His vocal abilities and contributions to the band alone are huge. Big reason that the band with DLR post Anthony sound so bad vocally.

He sang harmonies and background vocals. It made up for DLRs lack of talent.

While he wasn't a stellar musician his background vocals did contribute to their early sound.
