Can anyone even remember the last season in which Dallas posted a winning record in the month of December?

adzrne7;2849851 said:forgotten what? He knows what it takes for a QB to win under pressure. He always kept telling Romo he gets away with things, and he needs to be smarter and more careful with the ball. Romo needs to get that soon, or else I don't see a Super Bowl in our near Future. I'm not hating on Romo either I like him.

By some of these "Cowboy fans"...QC is a better QB then Romo?
I don't get it?
adzrne7;2849845 said:Of course we had problems before Romo was a starter, I'm not denying that. What I'm saying is while he is a very good QB(don't miss this) he doesn't yet know how to win when the games get tougher. Parcells tried to tell him this constantly, yet Romo never listened it seems like.
ScipioCowboy;2849907 said:Why are you singling out Romo?
It seems Parcells bears at least as much responsibility for the Cowboys' playoff drought as Romo; for all the alleged wisdom Parcells tried to impart to Romo, Parcells never won playoff game in Dallas and he never posted a winning record in December with the Cowboys.
As I said, Romo is only part of the problem, and he's not even the largest part.
adzrne7;2849971 said:I agree he isn't the only problem during December, but he is the most important and leader of the team. If he learns to take better care of the ball during these times others will follow. People follow leaders whether they are doing something right or wrong.
ScipioCowboy;2849977 said:What leadership from Romo would've prevented the Cowboy defense from surrendering two consecutive 80 yard TD runs against Baltimore or from being shredded by Donovan McNabb?
What leadership would've corralled TO's divisive antics?
Romo is far from being the biggest problem on this team or within this organization.
jswalker1981;2849991 said:I think you could question his "leadership" the last couple of years when it was the offensive's fault for the failures. But I think that was because when he became a starter, the biggest ego on the team was already a starter. And he didn't want to clash with TO. With TO gone, I think it is easier for him to take the lead when the biggest ego is gone. The same for the defense, we all know it is Ware's defense, Ware knows it is his defense, but he deferred to Ellis to not step on toes. With Ellis gone, I think that you'll see a more vocal Ware, and the same with Romo now that TO is gone.
ScipioCowboy;2849998 said:There's valid reason for questioning Romo's leadership. I'm not denying that. I only reject the notion that Romo bears the onus of responsibility for December swoons and playoff droughts.
CowboysFanSince88;2847272 said:But his time has to be running out to prove he is a franchise QB wouldn't you agree? Right now he has two major stains on his resume which is winless as a QB in the playoffs and the Chief of Collaspe in December.

Just my opinion about you...Honestly man no disrespect. Nobody can say anything about Romo without you getting mad or making it seem like they are fishing, stupid or trolls.zrinkill;2850087 said:Who has said Romo does not need improvement?
