Fortdick got it. If Poindexter hadn't dragged his feet -- probably because he knew what was going on and wanted to protect the local hero -- this would've been a state case. The feds could and would have gotten him on the RICO stuff, but he *should* have been indicted by the local prosecutor first.

The irony is that Vick probably would've squeaked free if it were up to a local jury. Once the feds got involved, he was toast.

So thanks after all, Gerald.

It will all work out right...just you wait and see. Vick will be just fine, thank you. He's not going to the electric chair...

All these guys will hopefully be better people when it's all said and done...

That's pretty optimistic. I believe in the inherent possibility of anyone's rehabilitation, but four or five years in the can has a way of hardening even the most contrite....jail will do wonders for Mike's street creds, tho.

too bad, when he gets out, they'll be the only creds he's got left.

speaking of the can - anyone who doesn't know a guinea pig from a rabbit needs to serve at least five in solitary.;)

These are not good people. They are only sorry they were caught. They would be killing dogs and running more illegal dog fights if not caught.

Funny how you don't see the race card being played up on that side of the coin.
