how does a psychopath learn a lesson?
He doesn't.
When someone enjoys torturing animals for years he is not someone that should be forgiven.
Facts please - your strong opinion is no substitute for that.
Since he finished his term and returned to the NFL, Vick has not committed cruelty or anything like it...I've asked a couple of times for links that he has and nobody has.
Vick is clearly behaving like a responsible pet owner, yet the quote above me screams and emotes he did not.
I don't have a problem if you said you can never forgive Vick regardless of whatever he does the rest of his life - I can see that. What I definitely have a problem with is when you and others read that link from
The Grio he conclusively learned his lesson, yet you declare he's never learned and never will...I'm sorry reality upsets some of you.
Vick is a convicted felon that did hard time.
Vick was suspended from the NFL, lost all his sponsors.
He has paid a price...pretty big, but for some not enough.
His reputation is tainted forever and will carry it to his grave.
I think of the first thing politicians do when running for office - they dig up the dirt on their opponents. It's much easier than saying what they will do when elected. Nearly every one running for office will get dirt dug up on them. If not the candidate, someone close to them.
Several times I've seen an opponent will call out a candidate for cheating on his wife, then it turns out he was doing the same thing! Or it could be improper use of public funds, etc, etc.
The one point I want to make is we all have a past, something not to be proud of.
I've been around too long to not think some of those making vindictive statements at Vick are going to be in his shoes at some point in their life.
