I totally disagree. Vick is done. He will do time, don't know how much, but no team OWNER will want anything to do with him thereafter. This isn't some steroid or illegal substance deal - it runs FAR deeper than that.

He's 'damaged goods' and right or wrong, his career is over with IMO/FWIW.

This is great; you'd think the defense team would have considered the possibilities beforehand and had the strategy mapped out, but I guess not.

Somebody sounds like someone still wants to make a reputation with a trial.

I agree with Sare...after he does his time (they are saying 18-36 months locally) nobody in the NFL is going to want him, and he might be banned permanently anyway

probably the best he can hope for after getting out is to get a deal in the CFL, which is where he belonged all along anyway...dude was not, is not and never will be a decent NFL quality passer

please, this sort of thinking is what got the Falcons in trouble with this fool anyway...they always thought "ok, surely he will learn from this" or "ok if we help cover this up he'll turn it around"

I guess I'm in the minority, but I think if he is sentenced (and hence suspended) for one year, I think he'll play in the NFL again sometime in the next 3 years or so.

We all thought no one was going to sign Terrell Owens, but some one did. I know the circumstances aren't close to similar, but I have to think SOMEONE will be desperate enough to do it.

If Vick takes a plea then shows remorse and apologizes, I think he SHOULD be allowed to as well. Forgiveness is an admirable quality, and he will have served his pennance.

I wouldn't want him, because I personally don't think he's a good QB. But I tend to think someone will sign him if he's eligible.
