Just so you know, I have no problem with the US, just Bush and
Republican policies. There was far less anti-American sentiment in Canada when Bill was your President.

18 is a ridiculous age for consent given most have done it by 17. However, our religious fanatic new government (our security minister actually believes humans walked on the planet with dinosaurs) is raising the age to 16 except if the guy is 19 or younger then it will be ok.

As for your crack on France being eastern Canada, when the US can be as cultured as France and have great museums like the Musee D'Orsay, the Louvres, the Palace at Versailles, then you can talk.

Vive La France

Ever been to the Smithsonian? Didn't think so. France is so cool. I forget all the time what they are good at. Collaborating.

I suggest you read more about French history so you will know there is more to French history than 1940-1944.

Canadians are the only people in the world rooting for global warming. IT will make their property useful.

Go ahead. I would love to hear what you have to say on the subject of defense.

"I don't have to explain myself to someone that sleeps under the very blanket of freedom I provide, then questions the manner I do it. I would prefer you said thank you and went on your way. Either way, I don't care what you think you are entitled to!"

Gee, don't get political now. We decided our president, not you. You have no say.

I would, but I am tied up reading the history of Luxemborg. It has more relevance in world history.

Thank you Colonel Jessup. If you remember the movie correctly, he went to jail for the manner in which he did provide that alleged freedom.

Remember though, your little rebellion in the 1770s would not have been successful without French military and naval assistance.

If your comment is true, then why do you feel it ok to comment on laws and governments in other countries? Isn't what is sauce for the goose, also sauce for the gander?

Ahh, yes, I remember those days...I was 14 years old when that happened! No gas prices, just had to feed the horses, and chickens, pigs, grow our own food...it was a wonderful time!

Yes, the 1770's were my best years ever!

:lmao2: :lmao: :lmao2: What kind of boats did the Canadians have? Did the actually float?

Nope, Verdun, in the spring... the weird thing is, I was really, really looking forward to it... I was in high school, in year 3 of studying French... after about the third incident of profound rudeness, I was ready to share some of the French words I hadn't learned in class with them, if you catch my drift...

It was so bad, that I have never uttered a word of French since, have never read a French magazine... I want absolutely nothing to do with those jagoffs, and am profoundly sorry I didn't take Spanish, or German, instead...

Spent 72 hrs in Paris once. About 68 hrs too long.

After looking at the Eifel Tower, Napoleons monument, and Louvre- there is nothing else. And its true about Parisians (Sp?) - they are rude and surly and pretty much worthless.

France only ever did one thing right- help us gain our Independence. And that really was to get back at England for losing the last war. What fight they had in them pretty much died in WW1. In WW2 about 2% of the population actually resisted. 10 times that number collaborated.

I love Canada- just have very little regard for most of its people.
