I'll have to say I've traveled a lot in the past and have never actually had a problem with it. But when I traveled a lot I was a kid too, I travel a lot less now at 18.

I don't mean to disrespect you, but if you are 18, you are still a kid.

If you disagree with me, just wait, you will understand some day.;)

There's nothing wrong with it at all. I'm not going to get dressed nicely to get crammed into a flying sardine can with 50 complete strangers.

Not to mention, my company's dress code is casual, so this is completely acceptable. I've seen people in t-shirts and flip flops, so sweats/jeans and a jersey are completely in line with the norm.

Yeah which is why I asked what was wrong with what she had on.

Hell, I've been on some early morning flights where some of the girls still looked like they had on their pajamas and overnight head gear.

I'm not trying to look that bad when traveling, but I didn't realize there was a dress code other than general comfort when traveling.

Given her vocabulary, and her general lack of any people-person skills (I'm getting all of this from a 2:16 video, mind you); I'm sure that the guy said it in a joking manner, not the way she tells it.

Also, if you put on a Cowboys jersey out of season in Philly, what do you expect? You were looking to get attention, *****, you got it.

These stories piss me off. It's a "he said she said" thing with nothing to back her story up besides an obnoxious twitch and a horrific lisp.

Next time, try dressing like a woman.

:laugh2:

Maybe they just pulled her out of line for being annoying. Who calls a local news station to their house to whine because they got padded down in a plexiglass room?

What the TSA does is a service to passengers; just let them do their job and be thankful that you got where you were going in your man-costume.

wearing a Cowboys jersey and jeans is exclusive to men only now ?

Come on fellas, that's right down stupid, if not straight out sexist.

While I don't believe she was picked because she was wearing a Cowboys jersey per say, I could buy that shew as picked because she was wearing an NFL jersey. While police are not supposed to " profile " based on race, TSA can profile based on what people wear. Perhaps they were previewed to information not available to the public that stated something like there's new tips suggesting weapons could be smuggled in oversized sports jerseys and/or caps. I don't know, just speculation on my part, but there's a ton of reasons why TSA did what they did, and not necessarily because of what she said.

Nothing, provided she's at some sort of party or sporting event, where it would be appropriate. We've gotten far too lax in this country when it comes to public appearance. I've seen men in shorts on planes and at ballgames (shorts are for little boys, fellas. I don't want your hairy legs pressing against mine), and I've seen women in flipflops at church. Your comfort is not the highest priority. In the words of George Costanza, "We're trying to have a society, here."

Time and place, people. Time and place.

Who heads to family funeral in a football jersey?

Someone who's not that educated, which was an easy conclusion to reach after listening to that whiny cow for two minutes.

Really?

As cramped as those seats are on the plane where a/c is optional and you think folks should be concerned more with appearance than comfort? Pffpt.

:laugh2: ... I can't even.. :laugh2:

If that works for you, good.

It's an airplane, not a bamboo cage at the Hanoi Hilton. Put on a pair of pants like a civilized human being.

I guess I'd care a little more if folks were trying to travel nude.

I agree with bb, you don't have to go dresse3d to the nines, but for god's sake shower (I don't care if your plane leaves at 5am) and dress like a civilized person, flip-flops are for the pool or beach.

I don't wear them, but flip-flops are the easiest shoes to take off and put back on when going through security.

In the winter, it's especially a pain going through security cuz you're all bundled up.

Times have changed fellas. Coaches no longer wear suites on the sidelines either, hoodies with cutoff sleeves is the prefered atire.

All I know is, you better be wearing something nice when we exchange vows. Hint: not a Darren Woodson jersey.
