This is the problem. He was confused, as he'd never done this before.

I laughed a little, but then I died some more on the inside.

If you're gonna half-*** it, at least half-*** it in the 4th quarter of a playoff game.

Not a route where you've beaten the DB and just need to keep running to catch a great looking pass from Tony.

As I was watching the replay, it does appear as though Crayton gave up on the route which is a shame, had he just run the route, we would no doubt be much happier fans this morning.

Even if he had kept running and got to the ball, he probably would have drop the pass.

Initial reaction while watching the game was that the CB grabbed him and slowed him down. But I didn't notice the part where he slowed down after he turned looking for the ball.

With all of the mistakes he made last night, it almost appears he owed some bookie some money...

Wow! what a shame.

He did slow down to look over to see where Tony was throwing the ball. Had he kept running to the corner full speed it would have been 6.

Aren't we glad we get to watch him for another 4 years? I said it before resigning him is a mistake. Now he's a David Patten that gives up on routes and drops balls like he's Miles Austin.

He absolutely stopped. Had he kept going, we may have been going to the championship.

I think I read that Romo had to take the TO before that 'cause Crayton was winded, you bet he gave up on the play, if JJ was the head coach Crayton would be out the door by now...

have mercy.

Here's a rule:

Mr. Crayton, the next word you say next season will be your last as a member of the Dallas Cowboys.
unfortunately we cannot do that since we gave him $5 million.

Man I wish we would not have signed him, now we have a freaking quiter on the roster.

After watching that vidoe again, I think I am going to be sick.

I had no idea that some people thought that Patrick Crayton slowed down on his route, which could have been the game winning catch.

I only saw the play once, and I thought the ball was overthrown. Youtube is blocked here and I can't see the video from work.

Also, has Patrick Crayton said anything or been asked about this?

If I was Romo, I would have kicked his arse in the locker room:mad:

Then you are better off than me... I have been sick since it happened.

Now its being well documented too.

Crayton has betrayed his teammates, his coaches, and us fans. I dont mind mistakes as long as you are trying. What I cannot tolerate is quiting.

I would probably eat the $5 million and cut his arse if I was the coach. I know it is not the smart thing to do, but sometimes you have to send a message.

I forget what play it was but Tony Romo actually got into somebody's grill late in the game. It was a lineman, but I can't remember who it was.

He was PO'ed. I think it was false start or something.

I defended Crayton all season when he was running his mouth, but after yesterday i'm throwing him under the bus.

He's a mediocre #3 WR and will never be a good #1 or #2..When TO went down he proved that.

Oh. & his mouth writes checks that his *** can't cash.
