I remember when he lost his son. That was terrible.

I know what its like to lose a child, and as a man I can honestly say this, I cried with him.

We SEE you, Trent.

There's a word that describes this picture. I can't quite think of it...

Loadholt had 7 sacks against him - 5 QB hits against him - and 17 qb pressures
McKinnie had 9 sacks 9 QB hits and 15 qb pressures
These were not good numbers compared to the rest of the NFL

They can't double both Ware and Spencer with great success. If they do, we will game them to death with Rat/Brookings/Bradie/Barbie. I also feel we will break out a corner blitz or two this game but it starts with shutting down AP, which is easier said then done.

I was about to respond when I read your post. So sorry to read this. I have three children and am so happy to say I can't begin to imagine how tragic it would be to lose one.

I have two older sisters with children and we've all been very fortunate.

You have my deepest sympathies for your loss no matter how recent. Watching my sister and her husband say goodbye to their 18 year old daughter was absolutely the most moving and surreal thing I have ever witnessed.

Over 10 years ago, and it still moistens my eyes.

I still think how our OLine fares against the Williams and Jared Allen will be more telling than how succesful Spencer and Ware are.

:starspin You may have a good point as far as Williams and Allen are concerned. Either way, I see this being a much closer game than the Philly game was.

Not sure about your assessment. I believe Trent is seeing this Cowboys team as a serious contender. One game at a time.

Since the Saints game.. Trent speaks about the Cowboys in "foregone conclusion" terms.

He believes and speaks as if its sure to happen. To represent the
NFC in the SB and to beat whoever represents AFC in the SB.

If that had been Owens and Quinn stilltheguru and McCordsville would be in sensual shock right now.

Trent is either A) a fan or B) angling for a media gig in Big D'. NO ONE else at ESPN cans stand the Boys....he's got a good niche if you think about it.

Not because of what he says here, but Dilfer is my favorite analyst. He's simply smart, knows football, and bases his analysis on xs and os.

The worst by far is Rodney Harrison. This guy has no business in a studio. You'd think he never played the game. It's all opinion and he offers no substance to why he thinks the way he does.

In this video, ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer says Minnesota offensive tackles Bryant McKinnie and Phil Loadholt face a “total mismatch” against Dallas pass rusher DeMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer. As a result, the Cowboys will win Sunday at the Metrodome, Dilfer adds, and continue on to the Super Bowl after that.

Not assuming the future, but that sounds damm good! :D

You have to admit, he's been right so far.

Dilfer was predicting a Cowboys win against the Saints weeks before the game and hung tight even after Dallas lost to the Giants and Chargers.

Continue being a prophet, Trent.

No, he isn't. He's been high most of the season, especially Romo. He's been big on Romo since he became the starter.

I think it may have been Dilfer that told Colon Coward that he was an idiot and had no clue about what he talking about in regard to Romo a few months back.

Coward was bashing Romo pretty hard and then Dilfer came on and burned him down with a bunch of stats.

I think he is still stinging from that stiffarm that Barber laid on him last time we played the Pats...

MY MAN, Trent Dilfer! If Cowboys make it the Super Bowl, I'm going to go out and find a Dilfer jersey. Unless we're playing the Ravens.
