Everything Dak did was mechanically sound...footwork..poise under pressure...the 2 connections to dez were beautiful.The two passes to dez and the one to butler were amazing.

Last year Dallas played Minnesota in the pre-season and I really liked their undrafted qb Taylor Heinicke, he took command of the his team and even though he was an undrafted rookie I thought he looked better than anything the Cowboys had at qb, besides Romo.

Dak was seriously impressive, it wasn't just his throws, but his presence and command really shined.

Dak had a similar presence to that of Heinicke; one that I really like.

His chemistry with the first team will only get better as the season progresses. He will probably get all of the reps with the first team while Romo takes his "Romo Wednesday"off.
