And Dak.
And Dallas.
And all the Dallas WR's.
And fans of QB's who weigh more than 160.
I liked Moore as the backup but thought Dak could win the job from him by mid season......I was wrong only took first week in camp.

What I liked about Dak was he wins games. He did it with less talented players but could lead a team to perform better.....very Jordan like

Yeah, truth be told... I liked Moore too.

I did what I said shouldn't be done and that is to disagree with a poster and take it out on a player they like. I think we would have won more games with Kellen last year if he would have started the games Tony missed.

But don't tell Floaty.

Anyway, I agree about Dak. Guy just wins and lifts those around him.

I agree with everything you said. I think it comes down to Showers or Moore for 3rd spot......Dak was making the 53 either way but is 2nd now no question

Here you go.....Enjoy from 23 second mark. Completely locked on to WR...Didn't turn his head to the right like everyone is saying...

The corner wasn't reading anyone's eyes. He was burned and was running like hell trying to catch up with Williams. The safety was reading Prescott but he was too far over on the other side of the field to get back over to help on Williams... no matter how much Dak stared at his target.

So, if the safety is playing that far away and the WR burns the corner like that... his eyes aren't going to matter.

FWIW, Romo doesn't look off the safety on every deep throw he makes either.

Kid is smart with the ball. 1 of his best plays was with his feet just before halftime, when he faced a 3rd and 38 on the LA 40. He dropped back, saw a huge hole in the middle of the field, realized he could easily get within Bailey's range and ran for 14 yards to the LA 26. Bailey then nailed the 44 yarder.

Instead of risking the ball, he made the smart veteran play with a 21-7 lead and got the sure points.

Nice observation. To often its only the sexy plays that get the nod. When it was actually the smart play for field position or a FG that actually won you the game.

+1.

Two picks made me jump up and down and shout while my wife gave me the stink eye. EZE and DAK. One preseason game is exactly what it is. Last nights performance wasnt about the stats as much as his pocket presence, arm strength, ball placement and his ability to make reads. It was all over simplified as in any preseason game 1, but the kid is already miles ahead of where he should be. When is the last time we watched a Dallas Cowboys back up qb that did more than throw check downs and 4 yd passes. Every single REAL Cowboys fan should be excited about this kid.

Full disclosure, I would have been pumped for Lynch also. I really just wanted to see a real qb prospect in the building.

Unless my sarcasm meter is completely blown, I believe our boy Risen is plum giddy over a QB pick he hated.

As for me, I saw NFL accuracy last night. That was the one thing I didn't really expect out of Dak. If he can CONSISTENTLY deliver that, we got us a little something.

I'm a huge Auburn homer and I was very happy to see him gone from Miss St. Kid is a winner, he was just never a great passer.
