With a bad field and all the injuries already, is there any reason a starter should be in this game?

Sit Romo - hide his damn helmet. Same with Sean Lee. Same with Witt. Give McFadden a series or two with Free and Fred and get them out.

What a disgrace. It's a multi billion dollar league and they can't get the grass right - meanwhile down the road at Stanford the field is perfect.

I would have absolutely no problem with Garrett refusing to play on that. Their own coach refused to practice on it last season.

The league is strapped for cash - thats why they need to have tractor pulls and concerts on the field :D :banghead:

It's the seams and roots that matter. Broaddus found a seam. It looked level and joined. But its like @popp1234 says. Until they start running and pushing off the pieces they aren't going to tell what condition it's in. I would hope the grounds team knew how stress test it.

Candlestick used to be a soupy nightmare. That just looks like a new field.

Agree. Looks fine. If they can't play on that, they don't need to be playing football period.

That said, I do enjoy the fact that my lawn looks better than the 49ers' turf. :)

Open sodded patches, noticeable seems and roots look fine to you for million dollar athletes to be paying on? That field doesn't look anywhere near level. They need to quit screwing around and just put down field turf.

But, dude, you and that other guy that have a nice lawn at your places don't have concerts, tractor pulls, high school games, 90 ugly guys in cleats stomping holes in the grass, or anything else that those people in Cali do! lol

Nope, I'd get my shotgun out if someone tried to even walk on it other than my gardener and my 3 year olds.

LOL -You're gonna be Clint Eastwood at 70 sitting in your rocking chair on the porch just waiting for a kid to dare enter your yard.

We won an NFCCG on a pretty bad field if memory serves me correctly.

Not that its any excuse for that mess in SF in 2015.
