Some folks pm'ed me and requested that I upload this, so don't kill the messenger.

Looking at that play, I almost forgot about the huge amount of duress Tony Romo was under, was able to scramble and "extend the play" as Ron Jaworski would say and Patrick Crayton just drops it.

Tony Romo just smiles after the drop which I am sure is the exact opposite of what all the fans did :laugh2: .

Yeah, next to Reeves, he was my goat of the game for that drop.

Only goes to show further that Romo was not the issue in this game. Everyone is saying so much for the gunslinger etc that he choked. I am truly convinced that Romo made all the plays necessary to get us in the endzone except that crossing pass to TO when the ball slipped out of his hands.

If Crayton keeps running on 3rd and 11 instead of easing up the Legend would have grown even more. I am so pissed just thinking about it, that was a friggin TD pass right there and we blew it.

But Romo took 2 sacks that were terrible. He was #3 on my goat list for the game.

Thanks, Mick...but I know for a fact that we have seen that over and over and over and over and over and over...!

Stop depressing us!! That was last Sunday! Move on!!!

I can't stand Crayton.

Running his mouth and then playing like that ...

And the Fasano drop was huge, too.

Yeah, I am watching that play right now and yes he dropped it but Gibril Wilson was all over him on that play.

Troy Aikman was saying, maybe if he throws the ball a little bit further out, Fasano catches it.

It definately wasn't as bad as the Crayton drop.

.

Yeah, people forget that it was really a heckuva play by Romo to avoid rushers, then throw it sidearm under the defender and hit Romo.

No more please, this is painful to watch. :tantrum:

Is Crayton another Freddie Mitchell? I remember when the eagles had the fluke super bowl appearance he wouldn't stop running his mouth and called himself Fred Ex. And where is he now? bagging groceries

To me that was the loss defined.

On last look Crayton was going to have clear sailing with one giant on opposite side of field not really in position to get up to full speed if Crayton cuts it straight upfield and starts running away to th the left away from him and down sideline. And the guys behind Crayton were screwed to get back into that pplay if he cut it up and back.

Aikman was right - that play was going 65-70 yards

Dude those sacks that Romo took are extremely minor compared to the TD passes dropped by Crayton and Fasano. Not even close!!!

Those sacks were huge IMO. Not as big as Crayton's drop, but much more so than Fasano's because he was pretty well covered on the play if my memory is correct.

My goats in order of importance was Reeves, Crayton, Romo, the o-line and the officials.

I cant go there with you "extremely minor" - no. He has to throw that ball away. It wasnt like he got nailed from behind. It was a bad decision.

I cant there with you on this either "comparing the two" Romo sacks and Crayton and Fasano.

I agree. Crayton makes that catch and that's highlight reel for the ages. He throws the ball sidearm and around Johnson who is leaping towards him and blocking his view after Romo had spotted Crayton and still hit's him in stride.

Amazing play indeed.
