I don't think it's really stupid.
Some people are just taking the easy way. Ff something goes wrong in their lifes they have always someone to blame. All of the hate that hides behind racism is really just a way not have to feel their own finiteness.
Others just use racism as an easy way to secure their own way of living or economic status.
Either way there is always an interest behind (conscious or unconscious) it and i don't agree that this is just because people are too stupid to recognice that racism has no place in a modern society. Stupidity is just an excuse for those people. And even when i understand that you meant it as a offense so people start to think about their own mistakes i think they won't because it's just to easy for them to hide behind.
Anyway...
I stopped watching when TO said: "I am someone who doesn't speak politically correct i speak always the truth..." and that is one of the reasons that people have a problem with him and he has had problems in the past/today.
IMO if TO is someone he doesn't pay very close attention on how to sell himself in public then their is nobody i know who does. So first of all TO should learn who he really is and that through selfreflection on how he appeala to others. if he really is interested in changing things - what i for myself doubt indeed.
