Yea that was the one part of the speech I didn't like. That's when I thought his speech was getting too long. I liked most of the speech about the glory years. Man I was in my late 20's and early 30's when that was going on. So long ago.

It's sad just seeing what our defense has been like the last decade. The Doomsday Defense was great. If we could have just an average to above average defense I think we could win the SB.

Cowboys can easily afford to keep him so he won't be a cap casualty and we don't have a replacement. Your words may carry some weight it the Cowboys made an investment into the position. If Dez shows his worth, he's staying on the team. Jerry doesn't cut players he wants to keep when he doesn't need to because of the cap.

Brandon Carr played through his contract, even after we had an out...because we had no one else to replace him.
