2016: 13-3 record, drafted Dak Prescott in 4th round.

And only 3 Super Bowl rings? And only the most valuable and relevant sports franchise in the world?

What an awful MESS he's leading us into!!!
:lmao2:
Have you followed the club during the last 20 yrs or are you like 4 yrs old! :lmao::lmao::lmao:. Get real.

Martin was much more speed off the edge than Haley + Martin would really tape up his arms and they were used as weapons vs OT's. Haley was the key to our 90's championships no doubt, tough call as for their times they were both the best.
yep. I loved Martin...Ed Jones too...White, they didn't have any friends on Sunday and weren't kissin each other and trading jerseys after games. Real football.

The jealousy you feel towards that man is all the laughter I need. He's lived an AMAZING life that you couldn't even dream of, and you're bitter. G'night!

We went 13-3 and drafted Dak Prescott last year. Seems an odd time to relentlessly rip the man, no?

And only the Patriots have won more Super Bowls since Jones has bought the team... hmmmm...

Oh, right. He's lived an AMAZING life and you bitter folks simply haven't. Yep, that certainly explains it.
Two playoff wins in 20 years. That's all I care about. When's the last time we had back to back winning seasons? And those 3 SBs were put together by Jimmy. Jimmy told Jerry what players to get. And how do I know that? Just look what he's done since Jimmy left. Look at my signature. That's a sad figure. Do you know how many teams have had more success than us in the last 20 years? Practically everybody. Last year was great. I want to see what happens this year. This team still needs a defense to win a SB. And nobody cares about his personal life. Clint Murchison was a millionaire and he was a great owner.

LOL only our fanbase can take a thread that is honoring one of the most prolific owners, not in just football, but in all of sports and turn it into some back and forth between whiny middle-aged men.

Some of you need some serious help.

Goodnight. I hope we can have a conversation again. Our view of ole Jerry may differ...but its a certainty we can share more positive ideas about the club in general.;) I should not have said you are 4 yrs old. That was way out of line.

yeah..i didn't like the slave crap...coming from a rich man. not necessary. a little embarrassing in modern times.
Man you don't listen either, he was talking about his heritage and where his name came from. It has nothing to do whether he's rich or not. So since he's rich he's not allowed to talk about his family's ancestry? Jeez you need to just stop because you are a straight up bittermen.

Yeah I did too. Again you get people like DFWJC that will completely exaggerate his speech 'I can't understand what he's saying', well whatever I understood every word he said so maybe that is DFWJC problem.
I only heard part of it and said maybe it gets better.
And all I said was his delivery was boring.

No mention at all about the content.

Kind of sensitive?
You're way out of line with your comments directly towards me (twice) personally over something as trivial as me saying a speech pattern was so far just kind of boring.

But go ahead, bash me if it makes you feel better

Good grief

I already did and it made me feel even better than I already felt.

Who fired Landry and hired Jimmy again?

I don't expect him to mention Staubach. He mentioned those other guys because were scouts/executives/coaches. They are alike with Jerry. Roger isn't.
Why would he mention Staubach?

If he did, I would immediately call BS.

He does not care about team history prior to his arrival other than how it helps his brand.
This is from United Way event they had for Jerry a few months ago. 4:45 minute mark, listen to what he had to say about Staubach. It's not a big deal, but when Captain America is sitting behind you, then you need to acknowledge him.

He glossed over 20 years.

Edit: I enjoyed it too. You could see his ego in the speech though. I have so much respect for the man but so much hate at the same time, is that bad?
Pretty much how I feel. I hated him in 1989 then I loved him in the 90's and then it went back again. lol If his ego hadn't got in the way he would have been a great owner. He always seemed like a great guy personally but a lousy GM.
