I'd be all over it but the Cowboys won't. They actually like Ronald Jones and just assume Pollard will be his old self even after getting burned thinking the same thing about Gallup last year.

It's hilarious how these guys from one extreme to the other with TB.

Had Murray, decided that the cost and wear and tear on the RB position was not worth it, so they let him walk. That is was unwise to invest a ton in a position that their research showed had a steep drop off, faster than most other positions.

2015 happened and Romo got hurt so they panicked in 2016 and believed we needed to invest heavily in the TB position. Elliott with a Top 5 pick. They were so invested in having an elite TB as the key to their success, they then dropped their pants and handed Elliott a ridiculous contract.

Elliott falls off the cliff, they realize having that much tied up in a TB is silly. So they swing back the other way and now are gonna band aid the position with an injured Pollard and then a bunch of no names.

When people say this franchise doesn't have a clear vision of what they want to do and no real plan for building a "team" this is an example why. They just collect players. That's it. There is often no method to their madness.

I could see Luepke being the 4th rb and 4th te. He was really impressive as a receiver at nd st. Flashes of Christenson.

I will say I’m not at all happy with the RB corps. I feel like we are approaching the RB corps this season like we did the WR corps last year, which cost us big time…all the while with a stated increased commitment running the ball and controlling the clock. Either Cook or Henry but we need another quality grinder to pair with TP.

They were set to draft him the year he came out...but Vikes knew it and leap frogged them to take him...just like the Eagles did with Dallas goedert with us.

Plus....salary cap means nothing to Philly....as they just keep working the system to get whatever they want.

They literally lost several starters to salary this off season... the only diference is for some reason Cowboys fans feel like the Eagles draft picks are all pro's before they play and ours were huge reaches....

100%. That said...it doesn't help that they got the consensus #1 overall player at #9...and we took a guy that the top 3 "draft experts" had as a 2nd rounder (assuming you don't include Jerrah in the top 3 like I do).

Oh well.
