I'd be all over it but the Cowboys won't. They actually like Ronald Jones and just assume Pollard will be his old self even after getting burned thinking the same thing about Gallup last year.

The RB position is a real concern.
You don't care about the off the field stuff?

Too many Cooks in the kitchen. I didn't even want the other one.

100%. That said...it doesn't help that they got the consensus #1 overall player at #9...and we took a guy that the top 3 "draft experts" had as a 2nd rounder (assuming you don't include Jerrah in the top 3 like I do).

Oh well.
lol I'm sure you thought the eagles draft last year was awsome also and on the field it was ok but thier FA's are who did damage. If you think Mazi is a reach thats fine but when the "Best Player" in the draft turns into a problem (you know because of the reasons he fell to #9) and Mazi is a every week contributor maybe things will look diferent for you.

A decent chance that Mazi will be better than Carter. That would be awesome if that happens.

That's been the rumor for many weeks. It's hard to see that happening but apparently the Viqueens just don't want to pay him Zeke kind of money. They don't have anyone on their roster to replace him. He won't last long in FA.

Side note on Cook: Over 1500 career touches and he hasn't ever fumbled.
Alexander Mattison is his backup and he’s pretty good. He’s actually very good.

As long as he doesn't want term, I would - I don't think he's slowed down as much as Zeke has, and he'd certainly be an upgrade to Jones and Davis.

I didn't say I thought mazi was or wasn't a reach. I'm just citing draft experts.

How do yall come on here everyday and still not know anything about the nfl? There's literally zero chance cook is coming here. Goodness

Picking him up would be a good idea, dak could go back to what he does well. Hand the ball off.

Well if all he does well is hand off the ball, how does he amazingly keep himself in the top 10 out of 32 starting quarterbacks most of his career??

So according to you, there are 22 or more NFL quarterbacks who hand off the ball worse than Dak correct?

Just like Henry...what will he cost us.

There is no way we pay him anywhere near his current salary. If released what does he want per year? Will he play for less than half his current contract average of $12.6M per? Maybe more like a third of that IMO. And if acquired in a trade what do they want back and more importantly how much of his $10.4M base will they eat?
People have to stop worrying about the Price tag. It’s always manipulated.

It's literally the single biggest deterrent to signing players or we would offer every good FA $30M per year.
