Why are they interviewing OC's? Is he going to hold McCarthy's clipboard? Pick up his drycleaning? Wash his car during practice?

McCarthy is now the OC. He's calling the plays. It will be his offense. His play designs. They have already drummed out Moore as a scapegoat. Are they now setting up another one?

why?? because ALL teams have an OC by title even the ones that the HC calls plays.. so if the right one gets hired with vision and possibly is better suited to call pays, gives you options..

why do we talk about Bienemy so much when Reid calls plays? Arians called plays the first season before handing it to Leftwich, many other HCs call plays buti still have a real OC..

it gives you options a strong OC with good QB coaching skills is helpful.

in 2018 14 of the 32 head coaches called the offensive plays, they also all had an OC. i think 8-10 did it last year.

Still need some input on putting together a game plan, look at others teams defense and know how to set up plays.
MM will call plays based on that.

Yep. 50% of the league has their head coach calling plays. They all still have an OC

they want to mock the Jones procedures and act as if somehow this is a dysfunctional move, yet its a very normal. anytime a fan in the zone can take shot at the Jonses, they will even if its from a baseless claim.
