Wentz needs alot of development, he only threw about 600 passes in college after all. When they're about 2-6 they will have no choice but to start Wentz and with their terrible WR's, RB's and mediocre OL, they're going to risk ruining him.

Good move in a vacuum but it may have unintended consequences on their supposed franchise QB.

It just could mean that they are uncertain if Bridgewater makes it back a hundred percent a year from now.

They gave up a 2017 1st rounder to have an either/or decision to make next year or 2018 at the latest. I don't see how it's a good move regardless. Bardford's not even a good quarterback.

Wow. That's crazy to me. I think Hill is a decent QB. Rappaport on the NFL network was saying that the Vikings just went from not making the playoffs to a big time contender in the NFC. What?! He's such a tool. The Vikings always make horrible trades. This isn't on the same level as the Walker trade but it's a desperate move for sure

Philly's future is dependent on Wentz... If he is a franchise QB, they will be contenders for a long time.

When you draft the son the football Gods smile down upon you.

This could have been us. Instead we're stuck in a burning building in Wacko, Tx. with a false prophet.

This angers me and makes me believe the fix is on.

Guess they just could not have the draft in Philadelphia with the Eagles shut out of the first round, could they?
You really might be onto something here. Bradford isn't worth a 4th or 5th round pick, much less a 1st rounder. And if Bradford is the starter in Minnesota then that pick will probably be top 15. Makes complete sense with the draft being in Philly.

I just became a Vikings fan for one year . Let's all hope they go deep into the playoffs and maybe win the Super Bowl unless a miracle happens and the Cowboys are in it.
That eagles pick has to be so far up there they can't even smell the elite talent coming out of next year's draft.

I called this when it happened. Daniel is a capable QB with years in Pederson's offense. They've got an excess of QBs. Bradford is a pretty good fit in MIN, and Teddy's future is in the air. They were going to have to handicap him, anyway. If we weren't heading into opening weekend, it all makes sense.

Bridgewater only threw for 14 TD'S with 9 picks last year so Sam can at least do that.

Smart move by Philly, makes the price to move up and get Wentz a bit more manageable.

Bradford has to be the most expensive QB ever, 1st round pick with a huge pay day, traded for a second and some change, gets a new huge contract and gets traded again for a 1st and 4th. All this for a injury prone QB who has WON nothing.

Eagles are smarter than people give them credit for. What they've done this offseason has been very smart.
