Wow! Didn't know that.
:omg:

Yeah, there was a snippet about it saying that the quick action by their trainers may have saved it from having to be amputated, although that might have still been very remote as they said there wasn't any nerve or vascular injury which would have made the risk very possible.

The more I'm reading, and now with this move, it sounds like he's got a long recovery road ahead. Maybe over a year.

I just became a Vikings fan for one year . Let's all hope they go deep into the playoffs and maybe win the Super Bowl unless a miracle happens and the Cowboys are in it.
That eagles pick has to be so far up there they can't even smell the elite talent coming out of next year's draft.
Just to add to my post, I hate to say it but the eagles need to win enough games to not get a chance at Fournette or Myles Garrett.

Eagles are smarter than people give them credit for. What they've done this offseason has been very smart.

They alternate making smart and foolish decisions. A subset of our fans have a fascination with watching them flail.

Talk about a franchise that can't get it done. They're losers, and their fans are low-class losers, too.

They get the Vikings 1st rd pick so it depends how they finish and not the Eagles

Eagles had the Vikings over a barrel since AP's only got so much left in the tank and the Vikings aren't sure that Teddy will be the same guy ever again.

If Teddy can't make it back, it's gonna be funny when Bradford finds himself in the same situation with the Vikings that he was in with the Eagles after the 2018 draft when they go get their next QB.

Short term, this probably doesn't help the Eagles too much this year which is good for us.

Long term, the Eagles basically stole a pick. Hopefully the Vikings pick in the late 20's as to not give this too much value.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Here is the Eagles history with 1st round draft picks.
They have hit on 1 player in 12 years. (Fletcher Cox).
That's pathetic. They will blow the 1st round pick again.

2003 15 Jerome McDougle DE Miami [p]
2004 16 Shawn Andrews T Arkansas [q]
2005 31 Mike Patterson DT Southern California
2006 14 Brodrick Bunkley DT Florida State
2007 No pick [r]
2008 No pick
2009 19 Jeremy Maclin WR Missouri [t]
2010 13 Brandon Graham DE Michigan
2011 21 Danny Watkins OG Baylor
2012 12 Fletcher Cox DT Mississippi State
2013 4 Lane Johnson OT Oklahoma
2014 26 Marcus Smith DE Louisville
2015 20 Nelson Agholor WR USC
2016 2 Carson Wentz QB North Dakota State

Lane Johnson, if he gets his act together, is one of the best RT's in the league.
Shawn Andrews was a three-time all-Pro before his mental issues took him down.
Graham, while not a star, has at least become a solid player, probably a 2nd round talent.
Maclin is a solid receiver, though a 2nd round, not first round talent.
Wentz we don't even know about.

Patterson and Bunkley we're projected first rounders by all teams. Too bad for the Eagles they didn't play like that.

McDougle, Watkins, Smith, and maybe Agholor flat out suck.

That's the truth, especially the ones who hang around here.

Let me think here, what other team thought they were one player away? Oh yeah, the same team and they should do the same with this GM if they don't go to the SB.

One team already wasted a 1st on Bradford, now another one gets to do it.

The Eagles just sent the message it's all about the future for them. I didn't see them as anything but a spoiler for the East so this changes nothing in the race for immortality..for one season.
