Villains in movies

Cujo in Cujo.:D

The warden or chief guard in just about any good prison movie like Warden Samuel Norton (Bob Gunton) in The Shawshank Redemption.

Khan Noonien Singh (Ricardo Montalban) in Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan. Yes, a cheesy choice.

Max Cady(Robert DeNiro or Robert Mitchum) in Cape Fear.

Nurse Ratched (Louise Fletcher) in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates) in Misery

Alex Forrest (Glenn Close) in Fatal Attraction

Dr. Szell (Laurence Olivier) in Marathon Man. My teeth always hurt when I watch that scene.

Detective Alonzo Harris (Denzel Washington) in Training Day

Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix) in Gladiator

Magua (Wes Studi) in The Last of the Mohicans

Jenny(Robin Wright Penn) in Forest Gump
Great one. I like DeNiro a lot, but the original is so much better.

Great list except for Jenny. She did him wrong but made up for it.

Some times there just aren't enough rocks. :laugh2:

Blue Duck in "Lonesome Dive" is also very good. So is the guy who led the gang that they hung with Jake Spoon. Name escapes me.

Good one. The character's name was "Dan."

"Dan's feelin' bloody today, ain't he?"

He was worse than Blue Duck.

Good list. Great call on the self-righteous warden in Shawshank. That's one of Brainpaint's favorite characters. ;)

Jenny Gump on there cracked me up. :laugh2:

That's right.

Have you seen "No Country" yet? Anton Chigurh is an awesome character.

Check out this scene where the clerk is basically calling a coin flip for his life.

Chilling.

I saw it and thought it was pretty good. He was a great villain. His pace, his mannerisms, his cadence ... all were very methodical. Pure evil.

Hannibal Lecter is still probably about the creepiest, most-disturbing villain I've ever seen. A fascinating character.

Bill "The Butcher" Cutting - Gangs of New York
John Ryder - The Hitcher
Norman Bates - Psycho
Mr. Potter - It's a Wonderful Life
Boddiker - Robocop

Rutger Hauer scared the crap out of me in that one.

Did you see "Hannibal Rising" and "Red Dragon". A little depth to his character and his beginnings.

Both pretty good movies.

Gene Hackman as the sheriff in Unforgiven.

Paul Drake as "Mick" in Clint Eastwood's Sudden Impact.

Yep, they were pretty good. Hannibal's perceptive skills were unnerving.

I almost mentioned Hackman as Little Bill.
